We've visited this resort a number of times and will always stay there when we go to Scotland. Experienced nd friendly staff, great accommodation, good restaurant and good food, great leisure facilities. Ideally located to travel around Scotland.

From the moment you enter The Kenmore Club, you instantly relax as you know that you will have an enjoyable stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. First class, does matter what size of accommodation you choose it will meet your expectations and more.

My friend and I booked this looking for a nice relaxed weekend away and was not that at all. When driving there we took the back road and was fine up until 5 minutes before the hotel and our car started skidding on black ice, after trying to stop safely the car got stuck in a ditch. After panicking as it was pitch black, we called the hotel and spoke to a member of the reception staff, she said that they state on the email not to take that road. After checking the email, it is at the very bottom and only says not to take it if there are bad weather conditions. The staff member also mentioned that this happened a lot yet gave us absolute no advice and was to be honest very unhelpful. We ended up having to walk 40 minutes in the pitch black on a country road to the hotel. We checked in and weren’t impressed at all. The cottage didn’t look much like the pictures on the website and was clearly not cleaned properly with rubbish, spiderwebs, stained towels, crumbs on the kitchen floor, dirty cutlery and all together just not clean. Also a note for those interested in using the TV it offers 4 channels and has nothing decent to watch. After going for a morning walk we came back to boxes outside the cottage door, didn’t think much pf it and left them, however, after getting our car saved by a local engineer we came back to the cottage to a band new door handle and to be told by the maintenance man that we needed to get new rooms keys, this seems like scheduled maintenance yet we weren’t told about it and we’re slightly uncomfortable with the fact that people were in the cottage while we weren’t there. Reception also took a security deposit of £100 which wasn’t stated when booking that we found strange but also made us pay an electricity bill based on a nightly average, this is i’m assuming the reason we had a man knock on our door at 9am to check the boiling which was just totally bizarre. Over all just a very disappointing stay and we will not be back.

Kitchen area dirty on arrival. Staff at reception and bar area superb.View great.Been coming here for years and this is the first time I have had to leave negative feedback. Someone needs to check the cottages for cleanliness before allowing guests in. Will be back next year but will complain onsite if cleanliness is the same as this year.

I stayed here with my partner and 2 kids over the weekend and was a little disappointed with my stay, it’s already quite expensive to stay here then to find out after booking you have an electricity charge per night! If you go swimming you have to pay £1.50 per towel you also have to pay to use the gym! You had to pre book swimming and we’re only allowed a 1 hour slot! There was no breakfast at the restaurant and the nearest place to get breakfast from was about 15 minutes away. You also have to pay a £100 deposit when arriving and it can take up to 5 days to go back in to your bank account after your stay! The cottage was nice however there was some stains on the carpet and cob webs and dust in places! The mattresses on the beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard! The Balcony had nice views however we were unable to use as the weather was not great it wouldn’t be handy to have a roof above the balcony so u can sit out when it’s raining! Waterfront restaurant was nice however again a little pricey! Kenmore is a nice place and the cottage and surroundings were good however I would not return here for a getaway!
