Good location and Service
The rooms are big and spacious. The location is great and allows for easy mobility with Taxify. What I appreciate the most is the staff attention. I had some issues on the first night and they fixed it immediately. Very friendly well organized personal. The complimentary breakfast could use some variety though.
Horrible Service and Facilities
The only merit is its proximity to the airport. The service and facilities of Luxe Suites do not match the hotel price. Front desk team is not responsive either. Rooms are not cleaned during the guest's entire stay so it gets really uncomfortable if you're staying there for 2 nights or more. The mattress was also very thin, it felt as if one was sleeping on the wooden bed frame. Breakfast is also annoyingly basic... just bread, omelette and tea. Staying at this hotel could totally mask and completely wipe out your beautiful experience of Accra. You're better off going to another hotel.
Not worth your precious time
If you are looking to get more from your stay in Accra, Luxe Suites is not the place for you. It just provides basic accommodation. Service and facilities poor. Only positive is that it is near city center and the airport.
Opportunities For Improvement
I was excited to try this hotel on my stay in Ghana. The receptionist area was welcoming and he was very nice, also helpful. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy. There is room for improvement in all areas. I love clean hotels to stay when travelling but this was not. Comfort: Bed was not comfy; had hard time resting. Furniture was unsteady, appeared broken, and appeared old Clealiness: As I saw roaches in the washroom I would say it is not as clean as it could be. Other: The TV had static the entire time. Not clear. I hope to be able to stay in the future.
Worst Experience and Poor Customer Service
I landed in Accra filled with excitement and ready to relax and enjoy with my husband after a stressful wedding, i got to the hotel and the room was different from the picture that was uploaded online, we complained and were informed that the one online was occupied, the bed did not have a duvet, the receptionist said they didn't have any available, the lighting in the room was poor and the hot water didn't work. We slept on the hard bed, with the noisy sound coming from the A/C without a duvet. The next morning we went down for breakfast at 9am and requested that the room be cleaned, they informed us that they only clean the rooms once every two days!!!!!, At the restaurant they asked to bring up our breakfast to our room as they were still cleaning the restaurant, i was livid to say the least, we decided to drive around town to eat. When we got back our agent had reported the situation to Expedia and we were asked, without remorse to leave the hotel since we were uncomfortable. We left and had to pay for a better hotel.
