On April 9, 2022, my wife and I stayed at Quality Inn in Acworth, Ga. We wanted an early start to the next morning. During the night, 10:30pm., a person came into our room startling us awake. Quickly this person left after I confronted him. When we left at 4am, our room key no longer worked as we loaded our car. Communicating to the person on staff was useless as he offered no help from what happened hours earlier. My wife was so frightened she never went back to sleep, but the person at the front desk didn't seem to care or even know what to do. We followed up with the hotel manager, again no apology after they had double booked the room, and she offered little help to make the situation right. After a number of phone calls, I asked for the general manager to call me, never happened. In the business world protecting one's reputation after making such a terrible mistake would be a priority, but not for this hotel chain. They didn't apologize and eventually offered a 50% refund. If you have a family with children, or you are an older couple, I strong recommend not staying at this hotel. The rooms are only fair, but the service and safety are poor.

My husband is from Kennesaw, but this was only about 5 miles from downtown Kennesaw. Traffic was easier than when we have stayed in Marietta. Stayed 2 nights, and will go back. It is old, but they have repainted everything. Room was clean. Coffee maker plus tea bags ( an added plus). Bit of a problem was knob on shower faucet, plastic handle stripped, but it worked and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good, lobby was clean. Lots of construction workers stay there, leaving in loud diesel trucks, but over all it was pretty quiet.

Is there a rating worse than terrible? My husband asked for a queen, non-smoking room and got a double room that smelled so bad when I opened the door, that I refused to even walk in or stay here. The kid working the front desk was an idiot, who gave us one price and charged us another, and when I asked for a manager none was on-site. He couldn't even give me a business card with the info to reach out to the manager. Told him we weren't staying and I wanted a refund. I had to call the hotel 3x to get a refund issued, and filed a dispute with our bank.

When we checked in, the Manager on duty wore a ratty t shirt....very unprofessional. the room itself was average.....somewhat clean (not the floors!)....but the bed linens looked O.K. the room was very shabby with nicks and tears on doors. the air conditioner didn't work properly and was VERY loud. to top it off, when we arrived at 5:20 p.m. the first day (having left at 7 a.m. that morning).....our room was not cleaned! The maid was actually next door....and said she would come and clean our room after she finished the room she was working on. Unfortunately, we were on a tight schedule and only hade 35 minutes to shower, change and leave...so we told her not to bother. I called the front desk and, when the Manager Charlie Patel came on, he told us that they only clean EVERY OTHER DAY due to Covid! that was an outright LIE! I told him it would have been nice if he had told us that when we checked in! I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER QUALITY INN AND HOPE OTHERS DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID WHEN BOOKING IN ATLANTA.

Looks like this place just tried to get a facelift but failed. Some things were nicely done - new bedding, curtains, carpet, mattresses. But the paint colors they chose were terrible. Neon green for bedroom and bright orange for bathroom. Not relaxing colors at all. On top of that, paint looks like it was applied by a preschooler. Also did not feel clean, looked like someone puked on bathroom wall. Spend a few more bucks and stay somewhere else.
