Top Spot
I still like coming here after all these years. Good food, well-cooked and realistically priced. Great salad bar with hot and cold choices. Drinks not expensive. Pokies adjacent updated dining area. A small win spent in the bottle shop with extensive range of wines from the best wine regions. This place is a real find for value. The historic value of this hotel is also a highlight of interest.
An experience
Not much of a range of beers or wine, and the topless waitress at lunch time on Monday was an interesting addition. Truly a place for those with an interest in local colour or an experience in suburban culture.
A night out
A great little pub north of adelaide. Good prices. Butter chicken was very yummy. Maybe a larger serving size would have been nice but plenty of great salads to fill up on. Salad bar is fantastic with plenty of choices to choose from and the hotel is kept very clean. The staff do an excellent job
Lunch with friends
Car park was easy to find and parking was close to the venue. Meals were very good value for what you got. Salad/veggies bar was well supplied with a good variety of items. Staff were friendly and the eating area was clean and tidy. Very quiet atmosphere and would recommend this to all.
Don't do it
Booked a room it was size like a prison cell. Just a bed air con and tiny tv. Bathroom toilet down a very dim lit passage. Wasn't pleasant curse you get what you pay for. Not good location not near anything.
