A Stunning Few Days
This was a complete and utter birthday weekend surprise. I can't recommend this place too highly. Beautiful (but totally practicable) accommodation. Enough "goodies" in the 'fridge and pantry to satisfy the most fussy of us. Fabulous views from all sides and two of the most wonderful Golden Retrievers (Grandma and Grandson, I believe) to chat with and discuss the merits of the World ! And, talking of the World: if you feel like getting off and letting it go by for a day or so . . . . this is the place to do it.
Very nice
My wife and i stayed for our 5th anniversary and was very pleased with the view how secluded and quite it is, also the dogs are a extra treat very good for a family getaway, only negative was its a bit pricey and there was no candles for the nights in the spa.
Absolutely Stunning !
Highly recommended!!! As this was a surprise get away for my fiancés birthday Lyn was more than happy to help me set up his surprise. Our stay at Mt Bold was absolutely amazing. From the friendly greetings from Lyn and Colin to the wagging tails of Priscilla & Wilson we wish we could of stayed there longer The gorgeous and beautifully clean room and open fire what more could you want on a cold winters day. The attention to detail is flawless and the spa, well who doesn't love a spa! We will definitely be back can not wait to visit again. Thank you again Lyn, Colin and furry family we are so glad we stumbled across such a beautiful gem. Anyone wanting a getaway you wont be disappointed........
Fantastic
Highly recommend! We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Mt Bold Estate - the location, accommodation and amenities were all fantastic, and the hosts were lovely (as were their beautiful golden retrievers). The photos I've seen of this B&B don't really do it justice, it's a must if you're considering a weekend in wine country.
Peace and serenity
We booked this for a mid week get-away and it was perfect. If you like peace and quiet and being away from it all Mt. Bold is perfect. The amenities are wonderful, with provisions for cooked and continental breakfast, wood burning fire, two person spa bath, tennis court and some lovely walk, particularly up to the Mt. Bold reservoir.
