Great resort for relaxing in the nature
We had a wonderfull time in the resort! We enjoyed the nature, the natural hot springs, delicious food, and most import the quality of the personnel always kind and super attentive. the rooms are veri spacious and comfortable.
Great place for a family adventure
This place is remote and quaint, but so worth the trip. It's located in tropical rainforest. In addition to the pools and hot springs, the grounds include a beautiful botanical garden, butterfly pavilion, and is naturally home to a plethora of tropical birds. You will see them without even trying. The resort offers tours to see some truly amazing waterfalls. They also run a Dino Park only a few minutes drive which was fun for all. The staff was great, they aim to please. Our tour guide at the Dino Park, Kevin, was very knowledgeable on the local flora and fauna, and made the experience an all around pleasure.
Excellent Resort & Spa
We had a wonderful 3 days here. They are doing an EXCELLENT job of Health protocols during COVID-19 times. Staff is super friendly and accomendating. The pools are so so nice, and clean. We saw them draining and cleaning at least one pool a day. The cabin exceeded our expectations for spaciousness, comfort and super nice bathroom. We enjoyed the arboretum and natural sauna and mud bath too. Restaurant food is excellent, and a wide range of menu including vegetarian (wife eats Vegan and loved their accomendation). If your adventurous, take the trip to Cathedral falls it is fantastic. Highly recommend this place.
Great Spot to Relax!
We were lucky enough to get a last minute booking here for three nights at New Years. The rooms were great! Very spacious and comfortable. We especially loved the porch with the hammock and rocking chairs! The grounds are lovely and well-kept and the forested area at the back of the resort was a beautiful place to stroll through. We loved getting up early to walk the grounds to do some bird watching. Plenty of bird life with the hummingbirds and toucans being a highlight! We did two tours to two different waterfalls while we were there - one by horseback and one hiking. The guides - Eduardo, Ronald and Kevin - were really good. Ronald in particular was so enthusiastic and eager to point out various birds and even showed us a sloth! I also want to give a special thanks to Ileana who was so responsive and helpful as we were making our last minute arrangements. We are definitely looking forward to getting back here sometime!
Accommodation in nature
We visited this resort on the recommendation of a travel agency. It's really a long way off and the way to it is complicated, but it's because it's really in the middle of nature. Accommodation is in cottages that already need renovation. They are so uncomfortable. Restaurant open and food average. No large selection of drinks. Everything is balanced but the environment. Everything is set in a beautiful and well-kept park. The pools are on sulfur springs and would also need a little more cleaning. Overall, I would not evaluate it completely negatively, it would be enough and it would be an absolutely amazing resort.
