Vey nice place to stay
Spent two nights in this place. Warm welcome and excellent dedication to the needs of the customers Special point for breakfast in a very lovely room full of beautiful dishes and fantastic representation of birds Excellent place to discover central part of Aix en Provence
Quaint and Wonderful
Our stay was very enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious with local fresh baked croissants and bread. It is close to all the activity of Aix. Valerie the manager was wonderful and very helpful telling us how to get to a particular place and giving us great suggestions. She always greated us warmly and did everything she could to make our stay pleasant. The room was small but the beds and linens were very comfortable. I would certainly stay there again.
Gem in Aix - Great location
Great location! Literally a few short blocks from the main street. Great for exploring the city and being able to come back to your room to rest and then head out again. Quaint hotel. Rooms were very clean including the bathroom, the rooms were a bit tiny, but had everything you need. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked really well, so that was a plus when coming home to rest. The neighborhood was also nice. The hotel had provencal charm. This is a great place for the price, and for exploring. We would stay here again as it was quaint, clean, and the location great. We would also recommend this place to our friends.
A little gem in Aix
The perfect, quaint b&b in an ideal location right in the center of Aix. The room was tiny but it had everything you need, comfortable beds and clean. Street noise was a little loud but that’s part of the charm.
Great Option in Aix
I have a terrific stay at Hotel Les Quatre des Dauphins. It's in a quiet area of the old town near the Cezanne Museum which is great for walking, dining, exploring and shopping. It's a small, quaint hotel. Nothing seemed like it was more than a 10 minute walk. The hotel is older with a lot of charm. I had booked a single room which was compact, but comfortable. It was an extremely warm summer in France and I was very thankful that the hotel is air conditioned which made me look forward to returning to my room. The staff were extremely friendly providing tourist information, dining suggestions and watched my luggage on my last day as I explored the city. There is no elevator so if you are traveling with bulky luggage or have mobility issues, sadly it's best to avoid this property. Getting to the hotel wasn't difficult. I took a bus from the Marseilles Airport which dropped me off at the Aix-en-Provence Bus Station. You could hop in a taxi to the hotel or walk in about 15 minutes. My US phone plan didn't allow for int'l usage. I downloaded the Sygic navigation app ahead of time which doesn't require internet access to use. I was able to use it to get from the bus station to the hotel without any issues.
