Negrecoste hôtel is categorised with 4 stars but the accommodation is not at the level of 4 stars requirement. We Booked a charming room and decoration is very basic with no charm. Morning breakfast is an express breakfast with no cooking and no buffet : 1 hot drink, 1 fruit Juice 1 pastry, 1 pièce of breakfast stick. No confortable lobby with chairs . The face of the hotel is disfigured by air conditionning and sliding windows. For the SPA the bath is very small and with stairs access. We did not inform us about relaxing room . Massage are the only good point with high level expertise.

What a great way to start a visit to Aix!

We arrived at midnight and the staff could not be more accommodating- especially since we originally booked at their sister hotel nearby. Then we found out they might not be able to stay in the same room for the 4 nights of our visit. These folks were just super accommodating, and everything worked out. We asked them to make reservations for dinner for 2 of our nights, no problem. In fact, one of our choices was fully booked, so they chose a great alternative. Lovely friendly hotel in heart of old Aix

Very friendly hotel. Breakfasts served outside in pavement cafe but heaters were on. Tea is very very weak you need to request 2 tea bags to get a decent cup. SPA facilities clean and friendly and very professional. Very pleasant stay, my air con broke which I reported person from front desk was with me in minutes with second remote, he could not get it working either but reported it for maintenance to look at. Would I stay here again.. 100% yes

I stayed at the hotel for a business trip. The staff is amazing and the whole team makes you feel very welcomed. The room, a suite, was very modern and spacious, with a nice working space. Food there is also delicious and reasonably priced. The spa Nuxe was also a very relaxing experience. Very nice hotel if you want to be walking in town without using a car. Would definitely recommend!

Exceptional location; outstanding front desk staff who speak English well; choose high floor room overlooking the street for amazing views if the sunset over the mountains; bathrooms are modern and large; hotel restaurant is good but not great but service there is attentive and very good; overall an excellent and easy stay in Aix. Side note - the owner of this hotel also owns Hotel de France nearby which is temporarily closed until February 2022, I am told, due to the impact of COVID.
