Now I understand why Victor [the owner] has a Wyndham award at the front desk. He runs a tight ship. Clean, friendly personnel, excellent value, nice rooms, above average breakfast, and attention to detail. Victor enthusiastically answered questions and offered many suggestions about the area. We would stay here again. We had a family reunion in September 2022 and were here for three nights so it was especially fortunate that we had such pleasant accommodations. (Unlike the awful Super 8 in Cortez NM that we couldn't wait to leave.) Thank you, Victor!

We had a nice 3 night stay & appreciated the friendliness & of the staff. The manager made sure breakfast was open & ready for us an hour ahead of schedule so we could enjoy before heading out for our day.

Just a “plain” Regular 8 Hotel

This is just your basic Super 8 hotel, NOTHING outstanding about it. Located on the main road in front of the town mall. It is located by the New Mexico Sheriffs office so maybe a person can feel safe I guess….. I have no real complaints against it but it is just very plain and too plain for me for future bookings. People at the front desk are nice and they do offer a breakfast in the morning. I have no complaints against it per se, but I wish it would’ve been a much better hotel for my trip.

Good budget hotel

By the time I got to Alamogordo it was dark and there weren’t a lot of street lights. Hard to see the side streets and had I not looked up this place on the map first I wouldn't have known that I needed to get on a street just next to the main drag to get to the hotel. The front desk agent was nice. My room was right upstairs from the lobby but I ended up parking on the back side of the building rather than bring all my things in through the lobby. The outdoor stairs on that end were a lot wider. The bed was really big and the room was decorated nicely. The TV was huge and had tons of channels. Iron and ironing board. Microwave. Fairly big fridge. The fridge worked GREAT. Kept all my stuff cold and froze the ice packs. In addition to a bible, there was a Buddhist book. Interesting. Air conditioning worked really well. The shower head was this huge square thing. Looked strange, but it was pretty great. The water was nice and hot the whole time with great water pressure. Bad thing was the bath towels were way too small. My first night was on a Sunday night. Slept well. No noises. However, on Monday night it was louder. The people behind me had the tv on real loud. There was a different person at the front desk and he was also being loud. Didn’t get quiet until after 1230AM. Good thing I didn't have to be up early. Around midnight the tv remote inexplicably stopped working. Turned the tv on and off again and it worked. Got it to move up a couple channels and it stopped. Gave up and got ready for bed. Since it's on the main street, there were plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. Very convenient. Definitely would stay here again.

Great Staff

The staff were amazing and very accommodating. The motel room was clean and there where not a bunch of creeps and lowlifes hanging out in front of the building, like how many other motels. We will go back to this super 8 when we go back to New Mexico.
