Nice wee gem
Went here as a family of 4, kids were 9 and 3. We went all inclusive and food was great, no childrens options though they did have burgers and bbq nights which the kids were happy to eat. If you are looking for a hotel with entertainment this is not it although the bar is open late and plays music. The apartments are spotlessly clean and spacious, we had no kettle in our room and no toaster, just a hob with two rings, plenty of crockery, glasses, cutlery, pots and a fridge with a small freezer box. Ideal for what we needed except the kettle would have been handy! Staff here cannot do enough for you, management were helpful, the guys at night on reception were the best so friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure your stay was a pleasant one, bar/waiting staff great, again couldn't do enough, cleaning staff- couldn't fault them whole place is spotless. Plenty bars, restaurants and shops within a minute walk, 10mins walk you are at the beach or the town centre. Hotel is very central and would thoroughly recommend it, really enjoyed my 2 week stay here and already booked to go back!
A terrific place to stay - this is really holiday
We Were to stay in Alanya for 12 days. We have stayed there before, but never on Sifalar. From now on this is our preferred hotel in Alanya - we will definitely be back! All people working there do their best to make you feel comfortable, the cleaning is excellent and so is the food. The apartements are great - room enough for more than two people. Sahin and Okan - we will be back next season!
So nice for a family holiday
We stayed 2 weeks, the rooms are very clean and every personal is very motivated, friendly and helpful. We walked to the restaurant with our one year old child and the waiters have been already waiting for us with the baby chair. We will come definitely next year again. Also the hotel manager helped us to find the perfect room for us.
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
Thought we were getting a good deal when we booked a two bed apartment all inclusive as 2 bed accommodation is hard to find at the best of times but on checking in we were given a one bed with sofa bed. Receptions staff very unhelpful when I queried this just shrugged her shoulders. It appeared as if staff could only understand/speak English when it suited them. Having read lots of review our expectations were high but we were now having doubts. I do wonder where the review both my sister and I had read were a) written about this hotel and b) written by genuine travelers as our experience of this hotel did not resemble many of the comments on the reviews posted. We knew we had to pay for air con, no one said there was none in the bedroom, only lounge area, and it was expensive. No one mentioned anything about the horrendous road noise if you had room facing, or side on to the road and we had both, It is a very busy road with all sorts of traffic zooming up and down at all hours. It was so hot and humid but could not leave windows open because of noise. We paid for the air con but also ended up buying fan for bedroom which again no one could help us source, couldn't rent one from hotel which would have been ideal. There is a great local store up the road from hotel, passed the Kings Kitchen and supermarket and they sell everything. Got a good fan from there for just over £20. Kitchen facilities were not up to much if you were not all inclusive and needed to cook. No cooker, only 4 rings, no frying pan, no toaster or electric kettle only one that went on hob. The sun beds around both pools were very close together with very little room to get past and very close to edge of pools. Found ourselves chasing the sun as it moved round during the day too. All inclusive drinks up to 11 pm but the atmosphere around the bar area was non existent and only managed to stick it out until 9 pm a couple of evenings. Very limited choice of drinks, beer only on draught as bottled beer no part of the deal and soft drinks poured from large bottles which were often flat. Beer at our small pool across the road where we were staying was poured from a bottles too!! Couldn't even buy crisps or nuts from the bar to have with our drinks and no on site shop to get things from either. There was a choice of food at meal times, plenty of salad stuff but no labels on anything so didn't know what it was and not much choice for British or for children. There was no helpful information either in reception or in the room.and was very suprised when half way through holiday we had no electricity - long story short - our room key came off the ring 1st time it was inserted in electric socket so we left it in there and we were told that this had caused a fault with key fob for which we were liable at a charge of 20 euro. When we called manager to reception he threaten to get the CCTV of us checking in to prove that the fob was not broken when it was given to us!! As it it would show that. We refused to pay and hey ho nothing else was heard of it. Like they say you get what you pay for and we probably did make full use of the all inclusive but it was not always an enjoyable experience and in retrospect would rather have paid more and just bought our drinks and food when and where we wanted to. Actually the snacks that we saw the non all inclusive guest buying looked nice and were probably more of the type of food we are used to.
Great hotel
This has been my 4th time in Alanya in two years and this hotel is by far the best one I've stayed in and will be coming back here again. The staff have been amazing like Okan the manager he helps out in anyway possible.
