Very dirty and smelly. If you want to lose your money ... It is the right place. Muy sucio y con mal olor. El baño tuve q limpiarlo para poder usarlo. No recomiendo este hotel. No lo repetiría nunca más.

I have stayed in Country Inn and Suites several times and I’ve always been pleased. However, that is not the case with this stay. When we went up to our room we weretold that it was ready. It was 3 o’clock and the room should’ve been ready or at least that’s what the young man that went up to check it said. It looked like the room was presentable until I noticed that the bed had been made haphazardly. When I pulled the cover back you could tell that the sheets had not been changed. The other bed looked OK but was questionable. I went downstairs to the desk and told the young lady that the bed needed new sheets and would she take care of it. I told her we were going out and would not be back until about 10. She said she would take care of it. When we returned it was evident that nothing had been done. I went back downstairs and asked the young lady about the bed. She replied that there was nobody to change the beds and they could give me a suite or she could give me sheets. I told her just to give me the sheets and we would take care of it. So at 10:30 at night my granddaughter and I changed our sheets. The bathroom was clean but if we had opted to take showers one of us would’ve been out of luck because it was only one bath towel in our room. Do young lady at the desk was not very helpful and her attitude was anything but pleasant. Needless to say, I will not be staying at the Albany Country Inns and Suited again.

I am beginning this review by stating , I will NEVER stay at COUNTRY INNS AND SUITES again. My active military husband and I were traveling through Albany, GA and needed a last minute place to stay. I booked a reservation online and everything went fine, so I thought. I made the choice to call and let the hotel know that we would arrive past the check-in time. I wanted to make sure that our reservation was secure. Callie, the customer service rep, answered and explained to me that the system over-booked us and that they did not have a room for us. I asked her if we needed to stay somewhere else, just to clarify and make sure that I understood completely. She assured me that we would not be charged for this reservation. I asked again about being charged for the room and she told me, “No.” Her words were, “The reservation did not even complete on my end due to the fact that we do not have a room for you.” Because Callie reassured me our card would not be charged, my husband and I booked at another hotel in town, TownsPlace Inns and Suites. Which treated us WONDERFULLY, by the way!
Now, fast-forward to today, I checked my bank account and saw that we were indeed charged for a room at the Country Inn and Suites. I immediately called the hotel to remind them of my conversation with Callie, in hopes of getting our money back, thinking that the conversation would go fine. BOY, I was wrong!! I spoke with an employee named, Kasmir. She told me that we were in the system as a no-show and that they DID have a room for us. I explained to her, whomever (Callie) I spoke to last night, told me that your hotel didn’t have a room, or record of our reservation in the computer. Therefore, we were unable to stay there. Needless to say, the entire conversation went downhill from there. I was told that I am a liar. Not only that, Kasmir talked over me the ENTIRE conversation. Never let me speak. Kasmir did not even try to come to an agreeable solution. Kasmir told me that she spoke to Callie and she told her I was lying. Long story short, my husband and I have never been treated like this. I don’t even know where to begin or if I need to just give up trying to get our money back. I am not only appalled at their lack of basic customer service skills, but blatant rudeness and disregard for the customers of this chain hotel.
We are a military family and we have traveled all over this country. We have never once been treated this horribly. Not even close. I am not the type of person to make something like this up and then push to get my money back. I am genuinely disgusted that people with such a lack of basic hospitality and hosting skills are employed by Country Inn and Suites. It is truly stunning that these two undertrained, disrespectful employees blatantly called me a liar after taking $134.00 from us because of their lack of competence. Unfortunately, I cannot say this enough, please stay away from this hotel and Country Inns and Suites brand hotels. My military husband and I will continue to travel around our beautiful country, but we will not stay with or recommend Country Inns and Suites. It’s one thing for this to happen to me, but I certainly don’t want it to happen to anyone else.
Always clean and comfortable

Second overnight stay here and both times we had a great experience. Our rooms and common areas were clean and comfortable. It’s a very safe property and neighborhood. No drug dealers or hookers hanging out.
