Bed had dirty wrinkled linen on it
Don’t stay here!! Save yourself the trouble. Staff was not friendly and very unconcerned about my complaints. I would never recommend anyone spend their money at this hotel. All I have received is a generic email stating that someone will contact me. That hasn’t happened yet.
You should go!!!
Hotel was very clean and staff was extremely friendly. You can tell the rooms had been thoroughly cleaned! Easy check in and out! I would definitely recommend to anyone. I mean especially family’s because there was so much space. I will be returning
Ok stay
The rooms could have been a little more clean and fresher sheets. But overall it was ok and very quiet. I was not awakened by any random noises and that allowed me to be well rested. The office staff was amazing and very patient as well.
Hands down, the worst hotel we've ever stayed at!
We selected this place because it was "pet friendly". The only employee there at front desk was overwhelmed with other customers complaining about their room arrangements. The keys to the room we were given didn't work initially, and I had to return to the desk for new ones. The room had no lamp at all and was dark and dingy, TV wouldn't work, and cookies and other dirt under the bed, so returned to desk and was reassigned new room . The second room hadn't been cleaned well...change and dirt behind the chairs. The sink wouldn't drain at all. We left and moved on to another place before unpacking!
Utter Disappointment
Stayed last night and it was absolutely horrible! We’ve stayed here 6 times since August 2020 as we have a daughter who attends ASU. Our 1st three times were decent, we love the proximity to the mall & restaurants so we continued to book here. 2 times prior to last night we somewhat irritating (noisy college kids/partiers) but we pushed through. Last night however well the stay as a whole was the straw that has now broken the camel’s back for us. We spent the day out with our daughter so after eating dinner we returned to the hotel. I noticed a Waffle House bag on the top of the fridge but we hadn’t had Waffle House, but I trashed it. But I realized the in room water bottle had also been opened and wasn’t an actual new unused water.. no biggie I trashed it as well. I went to shower ... stepping into the bathroom I saw quite a bit of hair on the floor by the toilet, looked like someone had shaved and housekeeping had simply not swept up. My husband advised me to just let it go as I had already decided I’d write to complain about it seeming like the always put blacks on the top floor.. I’ll elaborate... anyway so when we pulled the sheets back he and I both saw lipstick on a pillow so we tossed it aside, I threw a throw blanket I had over the existing pillows as my own safety measure as it was almost 11pm and I just wanted to sleep to get up for the drive home. Well that didn’t happen until around 4:30am. people were running in the hallway! Someone was knocking on doors and running. People were literally in the hallway talking and singing on and off for hours. I knew there was only one young girl down in the lobby when we came back so I didn’t want to put her in an awkward position of trying to handle it. Nor did I want to go out and ask the guys to go to their rooms. There were girls loudly talking in the parking lot and even though we were on the 3rd floor we could hear them. Then someone started arguing in the parking lot. Lots of profanity! Anyway out of the 6 times we’ve stayed we were put on the 3rd floor 5 times. Once on the 1st floor because the elevator was out of order. We realize that the 3rd floor mainly had all Black people each time we’ve stayed so we were like is this an automatic thing? The quietest time at this hotel was that one time on the 1st floor. We are parents not partiers or people who want to be apart of whatever 3rd floor activities thy at go on at the Laquinta. This last time just really did it for us. The noise, the nasty room & just the fact that management or security needs to at least be in the position to monitor the floors periodically to make patrons not congregate in the hallways all through the night. It’s unfair to others. Perhaps we shouldn’t have felt sorry for the young lady at the front desk. At any rate we knew this morning it would be our last time there.
