Very cozy
Very cozy, nice place to stay. There are not alot of food options in the winter in town so make sure to bring some for breakfast and lunch. The restaurant is very good too. The rooms were a bit dated, but still very well kept.
Winter Trip to Waterton
It is a good place to stay. The lodge was clean. The rooms have fridge. I wish there was a regular coffee maker especially when almost everything is closed in Waterton in winter. The dogs are allowed which is great when you have to bring your pets.
Accommodating staff
Nothing overly special about the rooms. Appears as tho they are slowly renovating some of the rooms. The staff was accommodating to let us switch our rooms to a dog friendly and the other to a kitchen sweet. Necessary during covid restrictions. Would be lots of amenities once things get back to normal and would be even more pleasant. Pool, bar, etc.
Do not stay
Garbage trip Trip to celebrate engagement, booked couples romantic package and ended up eating at a pub main level both food orders were wrong and undercooked. Power went out in the middle of the night no back up generator smoke alarms were constantly going off all evening. Could not use cpap due to power so got zero sleep and in the morning restraunt was closed no food until Lethbridge 2 hours away
Enjoyed Waterton but hotel needs refreshing
Stayed at this Lodge on a “Date night special” which included a room, supper, bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries...the wine and strawberries were great...the room was old and tired...the fireplace was nice though. The supper was disappointing because they were out of 3 of the 6 entrees which of course we didn’t find out until we ordered, I get with Covid they were probably winding down the restaurants, but we paid for a date package that included a small variety of entrees which they found my deliver on.
