Fire Alarm

The hotel fire alarm went off at 1:30 am. They did not find the source of the fire alarm and it went off multiple times during my stay. The manager was unable to fix and the upper management gave no direction and I felt unsafe given they did not want to call the fire department. The staff were pleasant and nice but incompetent on customer service and handling of a situation. This was a reflection on their upper management as it is a training issue.

Wheel chair accessible room was not set up correctly, room temperature control was not user friendly, TV remote control was not in room when we arrived and no additional trash bags were in room. Little food was available.

I can’t even begin to describe my disappointment. Staff couldn’t be bothered to even say ‘hello’ when we arrived. When I expressed health and safety related concerns, I was disregarded and treated like garbage. Just. Stay. Away.

Remodeled Rooms, Poor Cleaning

Well, we have stayed in this hotel off and on in the past 8 years visiting family in Albuquerque. Regretfully this last trip is our last, our room was not properly cleaned when we checked in, we found a used towel in the sheets of a made bed. the mini-fridge had an exploded soda on the walls that was not cleaned properly. There was hair, glitter, some silver strings in the bathroom floor and carpet. We didn't want to change rooms or cause issues so we asked the front desk for new sheets and we would change them ourselves. No big deal. The front desk did not have fresh sheets, nor towels(not asked but they brought it up) as well as a shortage on Housekeeping staff which is completely understandable, we did not need housekeeping service just some fresh sheets. We did inquire about cleaning the room next day, and it was stated cleaning is done every 4 days for the rooms. Front desk staff in evening/overnight crew did not wear masks 90% of the time we visited, only one of the staffers in the morning shift kept up with the mask requirements.

Good location by the interstate. Was very clean! Breakfast was not the usual buffet but made to order which was great. Always happy with the Hilton’s we stay due to my husband’s work. The suites were very spacious for two people. Great customer service and friendly staff.
