Pleasantly, No Surprises
After a bad experience the night before at a Quality Inn in another state, I was happy to find this location was clean, comfortable and much newer in appearance. I can't rave much about amenities for what was a 10 pm arrival and 6 am checkout, but it was a nice place to hunker down for the evening and I would be more than willing to stay here again if/when I'm in the area again. My only regret: I should have asked for a third-floor room. I was on the second floor, and the guest in the room above me was a very heavy walker, and everytime (s)he moved around the room it sounded like someone was pounding on the ceiling.
Stayed two nights...
Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. When I asked for a quiet room, we were given one on the third floor not on the interstate side. Even though it was next to the outside door and close to the stairs, it was quiet. Most rooms were outside entrances. Breakfast was good. Just one elevator in the building.
No Breakfast
I specifically made a reservation here because of the full breakfast. when i checked in I was told there might be sweet rolls and coffee, but no full breakfast as advertised. I asked for a reduction in rate because of this and was told to talk to the manager in the morning. Now I will have to go find breakfast elsewhere and lose an hour to be traveling home. I have been staying at Chase hotels for some time and I am a member. That may change in the future.
Great hotel with good restaurants nearby
The location of this hotel is very convenient, right off I-40. The rooms are nice, big and very clean. Beds felt like they are relatively new, had a good night sleep. Breakfast had a very nice spread. It’s within walking distance to some decent restaurants,Buffalo wild wings. Our kids loved the indoor pool, especially because it was cold outside. Definitely will stay here again
Customer Service is Horrible
I booked a room for a trip I was taking. The weather was bad so I had to reroute my trip and had to cancel my reservation. When I originally called, they approved my cancellation and told me that they were refunding me my money. Well, here we are two weeks later and still no refund. I called them and now they have 'backed out' of their 'approval'. The manager "Trish'" and the other staff were very rude about this and even tried not answer my calls, when I repeatedly tried to call back. I then called from another line, and they immediately answered. When I tried to calmly discuss my situation with them, they were rude and unwilling to even try to correct the situation.
