Townhome bathrooms disgusting

Reviewed 5 september, 2022

We had a 3 bedroom townhome. The unit had new carpet. However, all 3 bathrooms were gross. One had a shower curtain that looked like it had mold on it. No one would even think about using the bathrooms. We showered cautiously in the middle because the sides were so gross. Additionally, there was a huge stain over the dining room table that had sort of been patched. I will note that the attached unit which our family also had was much cleaner in the bathrooms. The flooring beside the inside whirlpool (by inside pool) was just plain dirty. Also, the whirlpool by the water park looked super gross. We did eat in the dining room on a Saturday night and also for Sunday brunch. Both meals were very good.

Needs total overhaul

Sad- VERY worn out resort, not kept up AT ALL. This is on good lake. We have family in the area and wanted to have a fun place to stay nearby now and in future years. This is definitely NOT the place we will return to. The rooms were dated, but spacious and clean. The rest of the resort is in BAD shape. The pool is dirty, worn out floors, and broken tiles. The exterior has rotten boards, railings- can’t even hold onto a railing without getting splinters. There is no ‘Rafters Bar’ as it still states on website, only the lake cafe and outdoor bar/grill. We had never stayed at this property, but had eaten at the Sunday Brunch at The Lake Cafe/2100 Chophouse. This has gone down hill- cold, processed food, lack of selection, old fruit, bitter coffee. We used the putting green which was well maintained, did not use the golf course but looked ok. The water park is DISGUSTING! We walked in and it took exactly 2 seconds to decide not to use or upgrade to package that included water park. The water was so rusty and there was a visible line around the pools, lazy River, and whirlpool. The water all looked a shade of brown. This is a Great Lake property, but someone needs to take it over and invest A LOT into upgrades to make this even passable. At $209-249 a night, this is ridiculous. They even tried to bill us for $40 a night more than the rate I booked, glad I had my email reservation confirmation.

We have been coming to Arrowwood for 10 years but because of Covid-19 things have changed The restaurant is not open for all meals choices have changed some good some not. Staff is still excellent as always just.can’t seem to get enough like everyone else. They are trying to fix and update the building and grounds. The food at night seems better We will come again.

This is my second stay at this resort and there will not be a third. The resort is rundown and in many places dirty. The outdoor pool is decent but not heated. The indoor pool is disgusting and the hot tub was closed for reasons unknown. The water park is passable, barely. It's pretty clear the standards in this area are low. The rooms are OK, but not worth what I paid to stay. The entire resort needs a major remodel. Skip the overpriced MN resorts and visit WI or MI.

Extremely dated and over priced

Reviewed 18 august, 2022

We paid a fortune to stay one night in the middle of the week and it was absolutely nowhere near the value you get compared to other hotels. The facility is extremely dated, smells musty, the water park is in bad shape and overall for the price you are getting very little value. The rooms are very tall and decent space wise, however the carpet was filthy (sticky) and we woke up with bites already over our legs so I'm not sure what is crawling around. I did look and verify before sleeping that their were no bed bugs. For $400 CDN for a night I would of expected free water park passes, breakfast, beds that are less then 10 years old, and a room that wasn't stuck in 1990. Just awful all around and the only positive I could say is that the grounds outside the place is gorgeous and maintained well. Avoid this place and book with anywhere else in the area for half the price and a room that is updated and comfortable.
