Joya Hotel

Stayed here last year, loved it so much, i came back. But this was during Covid, hotel was clean, warm, safe,staff fantastic very helpful. Tables cleaned once empty,hand sanitizer everywhere in public areas, mask's on around hotel, unless eating drinking or sunbathing. Now great location is the Joya,in between old and new town,around €6 or €7 euros at night in taxi. Now food- during covid, things had to change only temporarily im sure, you was served your food, but food was ok but your in a good location if room only. If you cross the road towards sabadell bank walk to the round about, cross over road onto the roundabount walk around it you'll see a road and that will take you to tje beach or at the roundabout carry kn left (don't cross) that will take you to old town. If you fancy a different location bus is €1.55 anywhere and L a'bair is a lovely place to go. I can't recommend enough a visit to the cross or La Cruz especially at sunset.

We’ve just stayed here as stayed here in June 2018 and I’m the room we had was lovely this time our room looked like it’s had half a reverb then they’ve ran out of money. Our toilet has a hole in it the sink had a crack in it!! The patio doors didn’t lock which we reported 3 times since arrival before fixed. The fire doors used for access to the stairs make such a noise we were up from 6 every morning!! The maid attempts to come in at 8/9 each morning which wasn’t great. We stayed here as a family of 3 and had to keep asking for an additional towel as they kept leaving 2. I wouldn’t stay here again sorry

The Hotel Joya was our home for four days and was brilliant value for money. The room was clean & bright, the bed very comfortable. Although we did not eat at Hotel Joya we did have drinks in the bar and we found the staff to be very friendly & hospitable. I would definitely recommend for short stays.

This hotel is mainly visited by spanish 55+ people it is clean and the beds are very good. However you can hear your neighbors conversation and what they are watching on tele. Some street noice but not to bad. Quite cheap consider the standard recieved.

I have stayed at many hotels in the world as a member of British airways crew and found this hotel to be excellent nothing is to much trouble the staff very friendly and happy in there work, food excellent they even went out of their way to get me some of the cereal they serve for breakfast and was able to take some home with me so keep up the very good work and will see you in June once again many thanks Ray Moffatt.
