Pros: The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Pleasant and informative. Hall carpets were clean and nice. Carpet in room clean and nice. Breakfast was great except for the 98% watered orange juice. Lots of choices and well presented. Cons: I am almost sure the sink in bathroom was only wiped dry and not actually cleaned. Black hairs in sink and tub on arrival. The tub needed some scrubbing as it appear dirty and dark. Light bulbs weren't working on lamps. Only one charging port on the alarm clock. The mattress was old and tired. Not a comfortable sleep. We stay at different Fairfields in West Texas a lot, but this location needs new mattresses and some deep cleaning in the bathroom!

Like most places in Amarillo this is very convenient to the expressway. Pricing was a little on the high side, but that is true for most hotels in Amarillo. Everything about the hotel was as you would hope, clean large room, good service and hot breakfast.
Best experience ever!

This was the best hotel I have stayed in, in a very long time. The staff were very polite and accommodating.the room was beautiful and very clean as well as the hotel itself. I will definitely be back!
Below average and overpriced.

I had much higher expectations for this property after reading other reviews. The rooms are no frills and more akin to a low rent hotel versus a mid-level chain. The drywall on the ceiling in the bathroom was bulging out and had mold on it. The “fitness center” had two treadmills, one elliptical and 4 sets of low weight dumbbells. The cheap towels provided in the fitness center could be used as sandpaper because they were so course. Just use a bathroom hand towel if you need one during your workout. At least the monitors had a TV signal so I could watch something while I ran. Breakfast was not too bad with a waffle station, breakfast sandwiches and burritos that could be microwaved, cereal, some fresh fruit, muffins and bagels that were still frozen when I visited. Front desk staff was nice and helpful but unmasked during this new Delta surge. Parking was free and the lot seemed safe- we had a carload of my son’s possessions for college so we were worried about break-ins but all was fine when we came back in the morning. Close to many restaurant chains so finding dinner was not a problem. Overall I would not expect much and try not to pay too much which we did ($190 with taxes) this August of 2021.
