Old hotel, needs to be refreshed

I only stayed here 1 night but its definitely not the best hotel. The rooms are small and old like the common space. However its clean and the staff is friendly. I would not recommend this hotel for a family but for a short stay it's ok with 1 person.

Very Dissappointing

Kyriad hotels are usually quite good ane we usually use them up to 8 times a year on our trips to Spain. Our experience at this Kyriad was awful. Firstly the chap on reception when we arrived only said 3 words to us, put the room card on the counter and just pointed the way to the rooms. Very rude. However the worst was to come. When we opened the door to the room we were hit with an overpowering stench of sweat/BO {body oudour) combined with cigarette smell. The sweat smell was really bad and permiated from the mattress. Opening the window did not get rid of it. We were each supplied with one flat pillow and had to use cushions from the car. The bed had a thick heavy 'winter' duvet with no sheet, so it was use the duvet or nothing. This is why the bed smelt of sweat!! We hardly slept at all that night due to the appalling smell and the heat and the noise from the garage delivery very nearby. The bathroom door handle was also broken. The one redeeming feature was the breakfast which had large spoons for the cereal and kept stocked by a very attentive different male receptionist. The standards in the Kyriad hotel range do vary considerably and this was by far the worst. Back to Airbnb for us.

Fair place to stay overnight

On site parking lot, breakfast available for additional price, pet friendly. Room was clean quite and comfortable. Kettle, tea and coffee was available in room. Individual A/C and heating. Fair place to stay overnight during your road trip.

For a budget hotel it was as expected, positives: the price, location (2 hours from CDG) good parking, free internet. Negatives: no fridge, no TV (this didn't bother us) and the air con wasn't working. We had the evening meal, for 20 Euro it was nothing special, in fact my wife's steak she couldn't cut it and left 90% of it. Sleep quality was poor because of the heat, bed was comfortable.

We are a family of four, two being teenagers. We had two rooms with interconnecting doors. Good job as the toilet in room 2 wouldn't flush and we could only use room 1, the shower heads were lovely and big but were to heavy and therefore the weight pulled them down so the water sprayed only to the wall had to take it of the hook and wash hair one handed whilst holding it. In room 1 had a flicking light and a small leak in the ceiling. To many problems for me to explain in French so didn't bother, staff where friendly rooms needed TLC location near to restuarants on a commercial area.
