Classic, retro and elegant. Step inside Hotel Mercier and feel at home. History relives at the straight friendly hotel with 40 rooms and 6 suites. De authentic Berlage style is showed throughout the interior. Think Art Nouveau, robust wooden furniture with a touch of velvet and rich prints. The lobby is built in style of the old library and feels like a second home. The monumental building on the Rozenstraat 12 at a unique location at the Jordaan in Amsterdam is the place to be for sleeping, dining, working or meeting up with locals. One night in Amsterdam

A nice place, located in the middle of Amsterdam. The breakfast is very nice, you get everything you need in the morning. The rooms are super cool and the Bar has really good cocktails. I been there only one night but fore sure come back! Absolutely worth to visit!!

Nice hotel, really impressed at first. Although the carpets were a little warn out. But the stapler that was provided in my room just did not work. It’s the simple things that matter. I won’t be staying again

I don't usually leave reviews, but this is a great hotel so I feel it deserves it. The rooms and decor in the lobby and bar are really stylish, the staff are lovely, everything was really easy and hassle-free, we even got a free upgrade and free drinks at the bar as we booked directly through their website (emailing before our trip was also a pleasure) as such it was very well priced. It's also a great location, lovely area and in walking distance from basically everything. Will definitely be back again when we return to amsterdamn.
Merci Mercier ....

It was a great stay at the Hotel Mercier, friendly staff, upgraded (!) but we chose to stay in a one-level suite which was great. No fridge ,maybe an idea to place a bottle of water sparkling / non-sparkling in the room. You pay when you take it. Beautiful building and used furniture. Great breakfast room and nice bar. Maybe they should promote their restaurant better.

I stayed 3 nights at Hôtel Mercier : I loved it. I was lucky upon arrival: an early check-in was possible and I was very warmly welcomed. Plus, I was upgraded to a suite that was beautiful, big and cosy. The decor of the whole place is great, but my room had beautiful beam structures above the salon… and that made the stay magical. The area is nice, very local and full of shops and cafes. The breakfast was good. One night, I ate at the restaurant and as I was the only customer (the restaurant was just reopened) the Italian chef made a menu sur-mesure. So I really felt personally taken care of during my stay.
