Very Poor Service
Flights were canclled due to covid and the hotel kept every penny. I'm not rating the hotel, I'm rating the service and staff. They didn't accept that covid was a good enough reason to not say and kept all £350 for my holiday that never happened. I wouldn't want to stay at a hotel that treat their new guests like this,
Low price-Perfect location
I should admit that this hotel deserves more points because of its location. If you stay at this hotel you are at the haert of the Amsterdam. You cant find such a good location in Amsterdam at this price. Okay, Hotel is not in condition but I stayed in this hotel only for sleeping. I havent spent time in the hotel If your purpose is exploring the city than just ignore the bad things in the hotel and just enjoy the city. I started my tour very early and come to hotel late night so I havent seen any bad things that are told by others. The hotel room was small but at least the bed was confortable and the bathroom was ok. From my side all was good. The only thing I rember was the breakfast room. Normally it is a chineese restaurant so there is smell in breakfast room. I didnt like the breakfast at all.
ANTS-ERDAM
the place was so old and dirty. unfriendly service. in the carpet there were so many cat’s hair. the bathroom wasn’t clean at all. the usb chargers doesn’t work. and in the last day we had the worst surprise... we found ants EVERYWHERE. (there are the photos i took at the light ok the wall) in the wall, on the floor, my suitcase was an hotel for them. literally disgusting.
BUG FEST
Simply the worst place i have ever stayed. Customer service absolutely shocking and the room was crawling with ants. Ants on the floor, ants on the walls.. Ants on the bed. When notifying the reception of this the response was "sure we can change you rooms" They also tried to block our refund we ended up getting by saying "it wasn't that bad" thankfully we took photos and videos. Do yourselves a favour, do not stay in this place unless you literally want ants in your pants.

Absolutely disgraceful hotel. Staff are very unfriendly and unhelpful, was lying in bed and noticed bugs crawling on my top only to pull the curtain pack for the window ledge and walls to be infested with ants that were eating what seem to look like a grass hopper. When the staff were informed there was no apology and no refund we had to trek to another hotel in the middle of the night. The man who actually came in to ‘inspect’ the situation said ‘oh sh*t’ and went and got bleach and gloves! The rooms are tiny and the advertising photos are completely misleading. Hall ways are disgusting and the smell of mould is horrible. I would not recommend!!! I wish I could give it 0 rating it’s that bad
