BITES!
Don't go there! I had bugs in my bed. I got my money back but you don't want to handle the bites! They are horrible! And it seemed like they won't put an effort in getting rid of the bedbugs! So even if it's cheap. DON'T SLEEP IN THIS HOTEL!
Had to leave it was so bad
Be careful the pictures on booking.com are so misleading. We had to leave the hotel we were put in a room right beside reception the walls were paper thin and we could hear everything. We were on street level with a big draft into the room. We asked if we could be changed but they were so unaccomadting. We’ve had lots of trouble since trying to get our money back as we had to change hotel and the hotel itself blocked our review on booking. Com and refused to refund our money.
BED BUGS !!!!
Upon arriving at the hotel all seemed ok. Room was quite small but did the job. One of the party found a small bug in her bed but thought nothing of it at the time. On arrival home from Amsterdam, two of the party were horrified to find bites all over their skin. This is appalling and a clear sign of insufficient hygiene standards for a hotel that is not so reasonably priced may I add. This is such a shame as our trip that was great has come to a bad end. Don't let the bed bugs bite!!
The worst hotel I've ever stayed in by far
We had a room in the basement, at the front of the hotel. It has a single glazed window, which is woefully insufficient at keeping out the noise from the busy street outside, making it nigh on impossible to sleep. To add insult to injury, the window was thick with black mould. I wasn't expecting luxury at this price (I chose the hotel on location above all), I can cope with a slightly scruffy hotel, but to fail on the most fundamental basics that I expect from a hotel (a decent night's sleep and for it not to be a health risk) is simply unacceptable.
Clean hotel
Room clean and beds comfortable, the room I stayed was quite small but worked well for me and my friend as we did not had many luggages . The only negative side was that our window, from the ground floor, faced directly the main street and leaving the curtains open was not an option. Despite is position the room was quite and we had a good night sleep.
