Decent hotel in a convenient location, but rooms not the cleanest

Pros: Very convenient to the airport; Good size rooms; In-house restaurant with a variety of options and good food; Quick and easy check in and check out process; And free shuttle to and from the airport which comes through regularly. Cons: Not very clean. We stayed here three separate times as we traveled through Anchorage and all 3 rooms were dirty. There was a lot of hair on the bedding and hair in the tub. The walls were dirty. The nightstands and dressers in one of the rooms were covered in dust. And, in one room, I had to use Clorox wipes to clean the toilet myself before I felt comfortable using it.
Room was nice - but serious booking problems

Went to Anchorage for medical trip and had booked one night...... Seemed unusual that I got 4 copies of the confirmation, each sent seperately to my email...... Reminders also came in 4 seperate emails..... Once I got my charge card bill.....you guessed it, charged 4 times...... After speaking to the front desk, they swore up and down that I had booked 4 seperate rooms......didn't happen, I had even responded to one of the emails to point out their error and suggested that the consult a computer technician.....that was prior to our trip..... Anyway after going around with the front desk clerk, she did credit back the extra charges, but only after making me feel like she was doing us a favor...... The hotel itself was very nice, but if you decide to stay here, just make sure you only get ONE confirmation.......

Arrived to check in with our paid hotel confirmation made through Alaska Airlines. Desk clerk would not honor it, so had to pay again for the night. Room was not clean and maid banging at the door at 8:30 am woke us up asking to clean. Hotel seems to be having problems.
Nothing special ...

OK "lodge" ... needs updating and more attention to being cleaned. We just needed a place to stay near the airport. Good deal for the money and free shuttle. Front desk staff helpful. Restaurant on site, food typical of a hotel restaurant. Busy street outside, very noisy indoors. Poor heating/cooling.
Room was fine, couldn't control temp, restaurant dissappointing

I make it a point not to eat at hotels, given no choice because of circumstances, this reinforced that belief. Service was ok, i'm giving everyone a break these days, but the fish tacos were non-descript, bland, just ok.
