Ok Hotel
I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. Lots of building work taking place at front of hotel . Reception area good modern staff helpful. My room overlooked garden on third floor . Very dated and old looking long overdue moderinization and very dark although clean. No minibar just one bottle of water . Bed was comfy. Bathroom old dated does have bath no good quality toliteries. Breakfast was very good a good selection of hot and cold food juices tea and coffee . No restaurant on site to eat in evening one person behind bar and you can order from a basic menu and the beef burgundy was not bad. If the hotel modernized its rooms would be a good place to stay
Perfect location
The hotel is located absolutely perfect to any attractions like cathedral or castle. The room was very clean with a nice view on the park. The staff - very helpful with map and extra info about finding the best place to eat or see. Very nice breakfast
Basic Hotel, Nothing Special
We stayed here for the 24 Hours of Le Mans... guessing it was the nearest affordable hotel our group leader could get. Our room was very basic and bare bones. We did have a decent view out over the city. I did not like the shower though... it has this squirting nozzle that if you try to use it as a shower you have to crouch up under it. It's annoying. The elevator was a pain when our large group would need to come and go at the same time. Breakfast was adequate... plenty of pastries, yogurt, fruit, cereal, juices, etc. You can walk to restaurants, or even what appears to be the city center. There was a lot of road construction going on when we were there. Overall - it was clean, quiet and adequate.
Very pleasant
A most enjoyable stay despite the construction work being carried out across the city for the tranvia and its proximity to the hotel. Staff very attentive. Room of good size (although we were upgraded).
Not worth the price or the stars
This is a pricey hotel that provides the bare minimum worthy of a 2 star rating at best: only provides a cheap handsoap in the bathroom, very thin towels, a very old blow dryer that burns your hand as you use it, stained grout in the bath, cracked sink with odor. Popcorn walls and ceilings are not a welcoming sight. Staff is nice thankfully and I am sure do their best to keep this old place clean. Not the best foot forward for the Congress centre attendees unfortunately.
