Disappointing
I went for NYE arriving on Dec29th and leaving on Jan1st. Hotel was working at its full capacity completely overbooked which can help understand some poor services delivered: staff is friendly and very helpful ( definitely the best part) but hotel isn’t a 4 stars at all- it’s - 3 stars, maximum. Room was big and spacious but it lacked structure: no towels available in the 1st day, no telephone, an old television with awful quality and wifi barely worked. Breakfast offered a variety of food but mostly not tasting good: breads were sticky and old as well as the cakes. I think the hotel definitely has a potential for improvement, but needs to invest more and focus on these ~little ~details that might make the whole difference. And definitely I would advise they’d expand the reception and hire more people. Even though the staff was great and friendly they were clearly overwhelmed. I wouldn’t recommend for anybody right now since I don’t think the hotel offers good services, but I would give a 2nd chance in the future If I hear these things that need improvement have changed.
Good place to work
Since many years I know the Hotel. The staff seems to be always the same. They are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very big, bathroom with bathtub and shower. View to parking lot with lot of sun, rear view very pleasant. It's very quiet. The breakfast in Cafe do Cais is very comprehensive and excellent, it's a good place to relax with view to marina. The generator garantees power supply. Internet sometimes with problems. You need a car here. It is a good place to work...
Good option in Bracuhy - set in a nice spacious condominium
Slightly older hotel built into the remains of an old sugar cane factory. The hotel overall is cosy, clean, with decent service - though not luxury. The rooms are very spacious, bigger than one would expect. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was above average, with various fresh juices and a variety of breads and cakes. It is a good place from which to explore Angra and surroundings.
A good stay
It is a good test of a hotel to stay there for 3 weeks and I enjoyed my stay here, even though it was for work. The location, next to the marina, in a private residential area is good. My room was a good size, although I think rooms on the lower floors are smaller. As noted in the French review, the air con is noisy and the internet rarely works in the rooms. I liked the varied choice at breakfast and sitting next to the marina eating as the sun came up was always pleasant. Mt colleagues seemed pleased with the food in the restaurant and there is another restaurant next door. All of the staff were very helpful, even if they didn't al understand English.
Good for work travel
The rooms are spacious and well kept. Clean hotel. Service is courteous. Internet is frequently down. A good location if you are working in the Angra region. Breakfast is just ok. Restaurant is average to simple.
