Very clean
We felt that this hotel provided every thing we needed. Comfortable place to sleep. No noise. Clean bathroom and room itself. Basic toiletries. Good temperature. Good TV reception. Good WiFi. Due to Covid, no breakfast. Price was right.
Night stay
Worst motel ever! Filthy, dirty sheets, lumpy stained pillows. Microwave filthy. Fridge cracked.Wall filthy. Fan in bathroom made a horrible noise. Tub was disgusting. Faucet. dripping not worth 80.00!!!

If you stay in Ankeny stay here I don’t usually like to write reviews especially since I have had numerous bad experiences at different types of hotels even high and expensive chain hotels but this is by far the best hotel that I have ever stayed in in the Des Moines Ankeny area and I have been traveling around for vacation since I was 10 years old and work I’m an amazing hotel far away so I am very picky and only stay in a hotel that is beyond 5 stars my husband and wanted to go somewhere for her anniversary and so we decided because I’m originally from Des Moines to stay somewhere close to that so we can celebrate with some of my family this hotel is clean comfortable the service is amazing if you do travel and end up in the Ankeny area definitely stay at this hotel the beds are comfortable And we ended up with a Jacuzzi suite for our anniversary and it was amazingly clean I mean really clean the cleanest hotel room I have ever seen in the Des Moines and Ankeny area so even if you travel in Des Moines I would stay here if I could give it more than five stars I would this is by far the best hotel in this area and the Jacuzzi suite which me and my husband booked for our anniversary was very romantic and a great atmosphere and will probably make this a yearly thing now becauseThis is the best hotel stay we have had even our honeymoon hotel stay was way below average compared to this And yes I am the type of person to make sure that every corner nook and cranny has been Cleaned that and how nice and polite to Stathis you are two big things for me so definitely would give us 10 stars if I could
On Way North
The front desk clerk was pleasant. The desk chair arm was broken. The sink faucet appeared to be broken, but it did not leak. Flushing the toilet meant that you had to hold the handle until the bowl began to empty.
Poop in the room!
This was the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed at. When we came in the 55 degree room we turned on the heater to a cloud of smoke, and realized there was a pile of bird crap under it. We got a new room and it was poor to fair at best, old and cheap. The hallway smelled like a smoker had lived there for 40 years. The rear door did not lock and was broken so anyone could roam the halls anytime. To add to that, they removed the breakfast before 9 before we could even eat, because only two guests were in the hotel. I would never ever stay here again and likely never a Wyndham
