Good day! I would like to leave an extremely positive review of the Delphin Palace Hotel! During our life we have rested in other hotels in Turkey, this time we decided to try Delphin. I liked it very much! We rested in early August 2021! Location, by taxi 15 minutes from the airport, the cost is 20 dollars, excellent, interesting programs, cleanliness, a varied and non-repetitive kitchen menu, there are always free sun loungers on the beach, compliance with all sanitary standards, contactless antiseptics on every step and much more! I would especially like to mention the staff, the hotel team! They work like a well-coordinated mechanism! They always help, they always smile! Special thanks to guest relations, Feride MURAD and Hüseyin KARA! I highly recommend this hotel! Sincerely, Alexander Komarnitsky.

ROOMS AND HOTEL QUALITY IN GENERAL The last time my family went to this hotel was 10 years ago. When we came back here, we were sadly disappointed. The hotel needs to be renovated. The rooms are very outdated, old fashioned and not cozy or inviting. We stayed in the Junior Suite and knowing that this is the most expensive room in the hotel, we expected more. The cleaners are not worth tipping. The sun beds weren’t properly cleaned and since we always stayed in the same place, we always saw the same stains and dirt. HOTEL MANAGER I met the hotel manager Erturk who was a very nice and accommodating person. When I told him about how disappointed we were the few first days we were here, he changed our room to the Junior Suite, reserved us a table at the a’la carte and was very friendly the whole time we were there. ANIMATION The animations were quite boring, but I understand that it’s the end of the season. Animator Serdar was quite literally the friendliest person I’ve ever met. He always greeted us with a smile in the beach in the morning and in the evening program as well. He even learned to say ‘hello’ in our language, which was very heart warming. Animators Ayse and Deniz were also very nice girls. CLIENTS’ LOYALTY MEANS NOTHING, POOL STAFF It’s very sad how clients’ loyalty here means nothing. We’ve been to the Delphin hotels over 15 times already, got a different bracelet from everyone else and still some guests with basic bracelets were treated better than us. The fact that in the beach we got all drinks in plastic cups while some other guests got all their drinks in beautiful glasses was quite disappointing. We always gave tips to the servers and it was quite obvious that German visitors get a special treatment there. However, the girl on the rollerblades and her guy colleague in the beach near the pool were super friendly, always with a smile and always coming back to ask if everything’s okay and if we need anything. CHECK IN The lady in the check-in was very rude. We came on October 20th at around 10AM and the middle-aged blonde woman who was talking with me was very rude. She was annoyed that I was reading everything that she gave me and eventually just yelled at me to write what she was saying to write. In the paper it was asked if we got our temperature checked and to write the temperature. Our temperature was not checked, but she told me to write that it was and to just write 36°. Eventually she got annoyed that I talked in English and demanded to only speak to my mother in Russian. I wrote that we came to Delphin hotels for the 16th time, she didn’t even check it and gave us normal bracelets until my mother said that we don’t need help, we know everything here as it’s not our first time here and she then changed our bracelets. The other workers in the check-in were very nice. The guy working in Check-out on the 31st at around 6:30AM was very sweet. FOOD The food was quite okay. My mom really enjoyed everything, as a vegetarian I’d say that there’s really not a lot to eat. Some things very insanely salty, but all the workers handing out food were very happy and always with a smile, especially ladies giving salads. WAITERS Some waiters were nice, some were always grumpy and throwing things on the table. None were worth giving tips. A’LA CARTE A’la carte was actually really good. The decor was beautiful in all of them. The man working in Turkish a’la carte was such a sweet man and very accommodating. As we had a table reserved in the Italian a’la carte, we had the same 2 people working whose names I sadly don’t know, but they were the best waiters in this entire hotel. Always very polite, with a smile and trying to come up with vegetarian options for me. These 2 were definitely worth a big tip, which we gave every evening. The food is also pretty good, we went to Italian a’la carte twice and the food quality was different both times, but we still really liked it. GYM The gym was okay, had all necessary equipment. The trainer gave me tips and worked out with me a few times. COVID The hotel can be applauded for the way they handle the whole Covid situation. All the staff if wearing face masks. Food is added to your plate which made the food cold and big lines waiting for it, but it was very hygienic. After every person the table is wiped clean and the table cloths are changed. Cutlery is individually wrapped in paper. In the evening all the sun beds are thoroughly disinfected. The temperature is checked on the way to the restaurant and the girl who checked the temperature was always with a smile and greeting everyone. You can also get a mask if you need one, hand sanitizer is on every corner of the hotel. In the room you have a package of face masks, gloves, hand sanitizer etc. The workers’ temperatures are checked every day as well. For the Covid safety I give this hotel a 5/5. CONCLUSION All in all, I’d give this hotel a 3/5. It desperately needs a reconstruction and new rooms. However, there were some very beautiful places for photos. I wouldn’t come back to this hotel and rather choose a newer Delphin hotel.

The hotel is absolutely fantastic for families with children specially the Kids Club and Kids Disco make it memorable for the kids. Hotel facilities are top notch and by far the best all inclusive hotel at Lara. I would like to specially thank GULISTAN from Kids club for looking after my kids and making sure they have a great time. She is an asset to the hotel. This was our 4th visit to Delphin hotel and by far the best all because of her. Thank you again for making sure that we have an amazing holiday.
Average at best / some highlights but not for vegetarians missing the mark on several fronts

We had high hopes for this hotel given the reviews. There were certainly aspects we liked: 1. Staff - for the most part always very friendly and we met some great people. Suleyman in the main restaurant and Yassi in Italian were fantastic! 2. Buffet restaurant - incidentally better than any of the a la carte. Lots of choice and choices for everyone and lots of live kitchens. You certainly won’t go hungry here! 3. Entertainment and facilities - the facilities are pretty vast, clean and well maintained, entertainment has shows each evening and there is something for everyone. We liked Darts and Yassay as the entertainers and staff do try hard. They also have arcades, cinemas and also 4 different pools with 2 heated (1 inside and outside) In our time they also put in a ton of effort for things like Turkey Day and Halloween. We were on the last week of the season so it was more limited at times. — We didn’t like: 1. Food - terrible choices for vegetarians for the most part: great if you eat meat but didn’t feel this is well catered for those who do not eat meat and fish. You’ll get pizzas, pastas and salads but not as much choice. 2. A La Carte restaurants - these were really bad and we had such high hopes: menus are small and limited and it was inconsistent until our last night in the Italian. Also has to be booked by 9am for a day in advance. 3. Guest relations is the worst part of the entire hotel. Rude and aggressive staff. We literally had a full on argument with a lady on our first day who was rude and we couldn’t then book a restaurant until our 2nd or 3rd night which we finally got resolved. Just a bad attitude and inconsistent opening times - just not entirely sure the point of them? To note - on the night we were told the restaurants were all full they were all half empty so not entirely sure what or how many covers they take on? 4. Rooms - the decor is tired and dated. Beds are okay but it’s a tired and dated hotel by way of the rooms. 5. Alcohol and cocktails - it’s an absolute joke how bad their cocktails and alcohol are. It’s all watered down and hardly any real taste for any of those we tried. After a couple of days we just gave up. Overall this was 3-3.5/5 for us as an experience. We made the most of it and facilities were good and spaces so nothing to complain on that side and you don’t spend much time in the rooms. Food and alcohol were a let down for us being vegetarians as whilst there is a choice it could be more clear and options which aren’t so repetitive and the a la carte concept is a total let down. You make the most of what it is but for an all inclusive concept it certainly missed the mark for us on several fronts and unfortunately wasn’t an experience we’d return to do again. The positive is the staff overall (other than the abysmal guest relations team ironically) were amazing and made it what it was for us. Reasonable for the price but we’d try another if we returned.

The hotel was perfect. What service you got from the staff this is what I call a five star hotel. The food tasted perfect and they had everything you wanted and different dishes every day. But the hotel star is Huseyin Kara from guest relations, he made our holiday unforgettable. We are so pleased with Huseyin Kara, brilliant treatment and a professional approach. Huseyin Kara is such a person who makes the impossible possible. Palace has to hold on tight to him, he's a star.
