Hotel is ok for 1 or 2 nights. A bit far from the city center (25 minutes walking). The standard room has a very comfortable bed, bathroom with immediately available hot water for bath or shower. The room is a bit dark ( too much dark brown furniture), nevertheless very clean and ok. Breakfast was excellent with fresh orange juice centrifuge. Breadrolls crispy and tasty. No dinner possible.
Good overnight stay for a wedding nearby

We had the compact room with balcony. It was indeed compact, especially the bathroom, which had no door (if you like privacy). However, the bed was really comfortable, the shower was great and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a drink. There must have been a view of the dock once, but there is new apartment block in the way. Wifi worked perfectly and was free. TV with a good range of channels including the BBC. It was fine for a night or two. Reception was really friendly and there is an "honesty" bar, with fridges filled with wine, beer and soft drinks where you just let them know what you have consumed. Cosy lounge area. Breakfast was good, with a waffle maker, fresh juice and a selection of hot and cold items. I imagine it can get very busy at peak times though. Lots of places to eat and drink in the vicinity and the Red Star museum is about 10 mins walk. We parked easily enough across the road though you need to pay by SMS or app - no cash options. I would stay there again.

We stayed here for one night. At the start, the lady of the reception warned us that the compact room we had booked was very small, and she booked us a standard room at the same price. The room was clean and had a bathtub, big enough to fit two people, one of which is very large. The bed was a bit too soft to my liking, but I'm used to firm bedding. The hotel was reasonably silent, considering there were constructions going on all around the block. The breakfast was pretty standard for a hotel, but you could toast your bread and boil your eggs to your own liking. The fancy American waffle iron was a bonus. All in all a very good hotel in a reasonable price range.

I arrived here for a 2 night stay. Having flown in from Montreal and then the train to Antwerp I was very tired. The lady on the desk really tried and succeeded in getting me into a room early. When I had trouble with the room safe the gentleman who was on the desk later that day had no difficulty showing me how to operate it. The room was clean and I had no problem with noise from nearby construction. The morning breakfast was what I expected. It was very good with lots of options.
