Rooms were clean and relatively spacious, staff was friendly and helpful, location was great, a short walk to beach and restaurants, and the hotel grounds were gorgeous and bursting with greenery. Also recommend the pool overlooking Ao Yang, which offers spectacular views.
Good service, beautiful surrounding and centralised location

The Tipa Resort is nestled in a spacious green landscaped garden. The room assigned to us was newly renovated and super clean and comfortable. The room was big and very well appointed.
On arrival, we have warmly welcomed and check-in by the professional Miss Ploy. The room she assigned for us was very nice and according to our request.
Our 5 nights stay was wonderful and well-taken care by the manager, Ms. Winnie, Ploy and the entire staff.
Tipa Resort is by far the best that we have ever stayed in Krabi...
Perfect place for relaxing

Tipa Resort was our last stop on the trip and it was just the perfect ending for the vacation. The room was big and cozy and it was cleaned every day. The staff was kind and helpful. There were lot of services offered by the hotel but the prices were higher than average, so we booked for example the trips from the street. The pool was awesome (dedpite the anoying tourists leaving their towels on the sunbeds for hours without showing up). This resort can really call themselves as resort!

I have given 2 stars just for the lovely setting when sat on the balcony, although the amount of mozis was awful, the bungalow it's self was dirty and dark with really poor Aircon, we'd get back after going to the beach and are room would be 38 on the Aircon unbelievably hot like a sauna it would then after about 3hours go down to 25 still very muggy, the shower door came off the rail as did the front door both were reported nothing was done about it in the 3 weeks we was there,so we didn't report the large gheko getting in are room every night or the housekeeper leaving gheko messit on the floor everyday it didn't seem worth it,the do called beach towels are tablecloths do we had to buy are own never done that at a 4star hotel before,if you like your morning coffee take your own they only provide 1 sachet a day again we had to buy are own never done that in a 4star hotel before, had to wait 2 days for shampoo,on to breakfast absolutely terrible I asked for boiled eggs on 2 occasions both came out raw, food was cold, plastic sausage everyday, yogurt and fruit ok,if we hadn't paid for 2weeks we would not have stayed,we didn't even get the wake up call on are last morning,we tried calling but no answer so then we had to struggle down the hill with heavy cases and hand luggage never have we had this in a 4star hotel in Thailand before,so although really disappointed with are stay we made the best of it,it hasn't put us of Thailand but that really is not 4stars it's just charging 4star prices, you can find lots better for less money.
