Cozy hotel
We stayed for one night at this hotel, the room is simple but good! Everything is very clean and you can tell the owners really put their heart in the hotel. We had a warm welcome by arrival and the breakfast was good.
Pleasant family run hotel.
This a very pleasant family run hotel that makes a refreshing change to the chain hotels in the same price range. The owners are very pleasant and we're kind enough to let us check in early. The rooms are nice with recently refurbished bathrooms. The breakfast was good too, with fresh pastries, coffee, hot chocolate, and lots of cold meat, cheese and yogurts.
Very relaxed
We were there just for one night with 2 little dogs. The rooms was perfect suitable for us. Neatly and warm. Bathroom large and comfortable. Good bed. We missed a coffee maker or a kettle. The owners are very warm and friendly and gave us the perfect advice for a diner. Fruit de Mer in the harbor of Andernos. We will come back.
Great friendly hotel
We booked this hotel because we were remodelling our vacation home. This was in winter time. First, the hotel was open, which is rare in touristic area Second, the owners are extremely friendly. You can easily feel you are a guest not only a Client. The rooms are charming, each of them having their own theme. And they are large. This is not common in France, where you usually getting rooms where you can barely move. Breakfast is excellent. Fresh bread, local products. Perfect. And the price is very affordable. So highly recommended for a nice stay.
Lovely friendly hotel .
My husband and I stayed here for a week after finding it on the internet . We flew from Bordeaux which was cheap and then got a direct bus (also very cheap ) to right outside the hotel . The new family who have only taken it over earlier this year could not have been more helpful and friendly .They gave us lots of information on arrival and not only helped us hire a car so we could go out and visit a different beach each day ...they also took us to collect and return the car. Our room 'Jaipur 'was gorgeous with a very comfortable bed ,large wadrobe , a bath and shower en-suite with windows in both .Each day the room was cleaned and we even had clean linen and towels ,shampoo and soap when needed . Catty and Francoise were totally flexible regarding breakfast .Some mornings we had it and others we went out .Likewise there is a bar in the hotel which opens in the evening and we spent a few evenings practising our French whilst Catty and Francoise improved their English . All in all we can strongly recommend this hotel . Ares is a very nice town with some excellent restaurants and shops .Our favourite was The Pink Sushi Bar .
