Delightful Welcome to Tucson
3 Palms provided a delightful welcome to Tucson after a whole day of flying. We were given a generous suite with king sized bed, kitchenette and living room. The room had a lovely courtyard view. The bed was very comfortable, front desk people very helpful. The breakfast was super featuring a variety of hot and cold entrees. We took advantage of the lovely spa. Our room and other facilities we used were very clean. Very reasonably priced - a great value.
Friday the 13th😵
I planned for over a month for a nice hotel in Tucson for my wife's 50th birthday and chose the 3 Palms as their website looked to be perfect. I'm really not one to openly criticize, but this place changed my mind. We have a small dog, and the website said "pet friendly". This place should be torn down. I've seen cleaner dog kennels. The view from our 'upgraded' room is of 5 workman containers and a parking lot. The front desk basically lied saying our room was served by a hallway. Nope. Parking lot. One towel in the bathroom and I've seen sugar cubes bigger than the soap bar. The hot breakfast advertised was okay, but cheap. The carpet was disgusting. I'm not wealthy or we would have left immediately. But I told the front desk to cancel tomorrow's reservation. I'm embarrassed to have done this to my wife. We found a very nice place for tomorrow. The one star I gave is a gift.
Great time in Tucson
Great hotel and a surprisingly affordable price. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and modern. It is obvious that the ownership and staff take a lot of pride in maintaining this hotel. Nice recreational facilities.
Delightful
We have stayed at the 3 palms several times in the last year or so and each time it was always good. The staff from the front desk, to maintenance to housekeeping to each person you come in contact with. They are each and everyone helpful, polite, friendly and a pleasure to be around. The facility has improved from the previous ownership and is in a constant state of maintenance, but you would never know it and hardly see it, but it is not neglected.
Best beds!
Such comfortable beds and a great stopping place for our road trip. Includes a hot breakfast, and a great courtyard with a large pool and a cute putting green. Very close to the park too, which made for a pretty walk. We will return :)
