Hotel was old and drab. Carpets stained and dirty. Exterior of Hotel appeared old and run down. Parking lot needs repair work, huge hole near a drain that could damage a vehicle. Hotel is two stories and no elevator.

Well as usual on the road again.....And the cheapskates at my job decided to book for me while I’m on the road.....Well for those of you guys that know anything about El Dorado know that they have been building a new hub of hotels off of 82 for several years that are a little bit more upscale than the ones that are just off of downtown....So I get to my hotel after a long day and when I look at it it’s not a newly remodeled on the outside LaQuinta So I’m looking around at these of the more modern hotels around me and I’m already getting pissed because here again the cheapskates at my job are cutting corners...That was my first impression until I actually walked in the door but downstairs lobby are very modern the rooms are very modern very nice very clean.....But you would never tell that by looking on the outside of the building as it looks and ushers back to the olden days of La Quinta when it was more of a bargain Hotel....So far I’m impressed and I would recommend it.

We’ve visited Eldorado twice in the last couple of months. This hotel was basic for the price. I probably won’t stay there again because of the hotel staff. The night clerk wasn’t very nice. She acted like she didn’t want to be there. However, that’s not the reason I will not be returning. House keeping knocked on our door at 8:30 a.m. not once but twice. They also opened the door to my husband standing there in his underwear. Check out time is 11:00. Why would they expect a guest not to be there. They were so noisy banging the carts and vacuuming the hall we got dressed and left. I had been in town because my mother is there and had been sick. We were up late caring for her and quite exhausted. The hotels policy says you can’t check in until 3:00 p.m but they can rude enough you want to leave before check out time.
