Wonderful stay
A wonderful stay during this unknown time. All safety measures in place during check-in by a welcoming receptionist. Our room had fantastic views over the beach so worth paying that little extra for the view. Breakfast was buffet style but served by a waiter due to Covid situation. I must say I was very impressed by the cleansing of the sunbeds and parasols after use by cleaning/cleansing products. Had a fantastic evening in the bar area, even though not busy we were still looked after, enjoying cocktails. Views from the bar area overlook the pool and the beach. All the staff at the hotel are a credit and everyone made you feel very welcome. If you are looking for a central hotel, close to all amenities, beach on your doorstep then this is one not to be missed.
Enjoyed our stay
Lovely hotel, the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Absolutely stunning views over the beach. Our executive room was huge, the bed very comfortable and towels really soft. No complaints at all! Would definitely return.
Comfortable and safe holiday
We have stayed at this hotel numerous times and have always had an enjoyable time. The location, facilities and staff are all superb. This time, with the Covid-19 restrictions, the hotel made every effort imaginable to keep things running as near normal as possible and to keep guests safe. We had the usual wonderful holiday. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and most helpful. The breakfast buffet was up to its usual standard with a very good range of hot and cold food. I would like to thank staff and management for their efforts at such a difficult time, most appreciated. We are already looking at dates for next year.

Had a fortnight here....great location...just sad that the staff let it down...it's not hard to smile!!!.. restaurant staff were good...pool bar staff were hopeless...drinks well overpriced...not the same standard as the holiday inns in the UK
Good alternative holiday
We booked this hotel immediately after our Spanish holiday was cancelled and Portugal travel allowed. After choosing online then booking by phone 1 day later, price had gone up by £500 each, Hotel profiteering or holiday company ? Hotel has many stairs around the pool area not good for older or infirm guests and the access to the pool is steps only. The hotel is however in an enviable position on the beach.. Food was very good if a little limited, no doubt due to covid restrictions. The resteraunt staff were excellent. Sunbeds extremely limited , not room for many more even without social distancing, this meant beds were being reserved at 6am. We even had a guest remove our towels from both sunbeds and take them to reception whilst we had a break for breakfast even though she only wanted one. Hotel were apologetic and said the guest in question had been coming to this hotel for 40 years ..... does that make it right ?. There were many heated discussions amongst disapointed guests around the pool about sunbeds. Fortunately there are sunbeds on the beach immediately in front of the hotel, unfortunately at 20 Euros per day it’s a considerable expense over the whole holiday. There was a lovely bar with great views over the sea, problems was it was shut all the time ? As an alternative get away its was ok, but with lots of facilities limited and being charged extra for the privilege I felt a bit exploited I would say that the hotel was very good with regard to covid precautions and we felt safe holidaying there. Would I return, No not really for me however I am certain the whole experience will improve considerably after the covid restrictions are lifted
