Modern Hotel Aruba

I was in Aruba in January & extended my stay when I found this place. I went to take a look and it’s beautiful, clean, and affordable. I ended up staying in the Deluxe Suite, for 5 nights , it did not have a stove top, but it did have a refrigerator, & microwave. This is all I needed for the time I stayed . The grounds were well maintained & pool area was very clean. I’m happy I found this treasure and I’ll be back in 2022. The owners of this property are very accommodating & the cleaning lady as well. Thank you for a great stay and my vacation extended!!

We just got back from another month stay in the penthouse suite. This place has every you need. Super clean,quiet and great space. The whole staff is superb. If you need anything they will get you it in a timely manner. Love spending time by the pool and using the grill for some suppers. Mike, Amanda and Blanca and Vincete are great.

This is our 2nd stay here at the Modern Hotel Aruba. We rented the White Apt, this time, and really enjoy the full kitchen. Hanging out in the morning and eating breakfast by the pool really made the best start to every day. We rented a car and had a lot access to the island minus the off-road trails. We will be back! Other recommendations: -Catalina Cove for coastal snorkeling. -Zeerovers for fresh fish, caught daily. The wait is worth it. -Arikok National Park to see where the island's east coast meets the ocean. -Kukoo Kunuku, party bus, which picked us up at the Modern Hotel. -Aruba Aloe's manufacturing facility, which sells reef-safe sunscreen.

Just came back from a relaxing vacation and wished we could have been able to extend. My wife & I tried to plan this vacation 3 other times and due to Covid restrictions this was our last ditch effort and it was well worth the wait. The hotel is more like an AirBNB but for the location, price, & capacity (8 rooms) everything was more than adequate. The room we occupied was very spacious with very comfortable beds & pillows, it had a nice sized refrigerator, large bathroom, and ample counter & closet space. As well they had a very nice and clean pool area that also has a communal grill station with the utensils and cleaning products for it. The property is only a 5 minutes walk to the beach (make sure to download the GPS app waze which will help you get used to the route). They have housekeeping everyday and Blanca is very helpful and friendly. We booked through the property's owner Michael who was very hands on and was an intricate part as to why we stayed there and to top it off though the country had a curfew and limit on occupancy my wife and I were still able to have the best seats in the house and watched the fireworks light up the sky for New Years (at poolside).

Just got back from a wonderful week in the modern white apt. It was plenty big for my two teens and me. Large kitchen. Blanca and michael were so accommodating. The property is clean and we barely saw any other guests. Most the time we had the pool to ourselves. It was literally a 5 min walk to the Marriott. We either took the path or the street which was 8 min. There’s a market 5 min walk away too. Or a huge one for 12 dollar cab ride one way. If we needed anything I asked Blanca or texted michael and it was taken care of right away. We felt safe. When we walked in the neighborhood there were a LOT of cats, but none on this property. If you want to take a cab, we used Hubert who michael recommended. It’s $10 to go across the street. We walked most the times. If it rains though, the path will be muddy, so we took a taxi or went the other way. We will definitely go back again! It’s literally a fraction of the cost of the resorts right across the street. Felt like we were renting a private home. Beautiful new grill outside and a lot of patio furniture
