AMAZING!!~!!!
We spent a week at this wonderful hotel In February. I read some of the reviews before I arrived. They must have been written about another resort! From the time we arrived until we left,I could not ask for anything better. Check in was seamless, the room was clean and the A/C worked fine The restaurants were on a rotation basis, but the food was good. The staff was exceptional and very attentive. The beach is beautiful and the water clear. We booked excursions with the staff in the lobby. Each one of the trips was terrific. If you can, go and stay the the Riu palace. After reading some of the negative reviews, I guess no matter what you do, some people are just NEVER happy!!!!
Amazing time
I have to give a five star plus to Pedro the chef. He’s food is spectacular. Our experience at the Riu palace Aruba has been excellent, the service, views, and beach are fantastic.. We are looking forward to go back
Accommodation
Rui Palace best hotel ever and The Best Assistant General Manager ever Edgar. We vacation in Aruba often and I must say, Edgar who we met throughout our stay at the rui was always welcoming and very pleasant. Any concerns we had, he was always there to listen and make our stay an enjoyable and memorable experience. Edgar from the first time we met him at the Rui Antilles was always pleasant and welcoming ,Now he is at the Rui Palace and he hasn’t change. Always smiling and always willing to lend a hand with any and everything. Because of Edgar and staff including Maria in housekeeping who we had during our last stay in room 817. We will return! Maria did an excellent job in cleaning the room and is very friendly as well. We love Edgar and Maria! We Salute to the both of you for making us feel at home. We want to thank you in advance for a job well done! Thank you again! The Palmers
Fantastic Experience
Kind and helpful staff, great food, Buffet was excellent with great service. Would definitely recommend this resort. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants downtown if you want to explore. Will certainly come back. Even with the restrictions on the island it is well worth booking here.
Just Say No: Dated Decor + Leaky Ceiling + Bad Restaurants
Stayed for a week with my sister and niece. Pros: *The people that work here are amazingly kind, friendly and work hard to accommodate with a smile. They are the best part of the island. *Location is great with a short walk to the strip that has a few nice restaurant options and shopping. *I've traveled all over the world, not sure if I've seen a beach as beautiful as Aruba's. Palm Beach is a gem! Cons: *The hotel is VERY basic. The description above reads luxury, excellence and sophistication but all are extremely lacking. It gives me motel vibes because everything is SO dated. Not one thing about this place hints at luxury. *The lobby reeks of cigarette smoke everyday. Not sure why, but it is something that they should seek to rectify. If that wasn't enough, the lobby is decorated in a bunch of colors that clash - black, white, brown, gray, pink and beige. Yes at the same time. *The food was a struggle. I am learning that all inclusive hotels are pumping out food for volume and not cooking with love. Ended up eating out every single day because it was that bad. *My sisters room had a leaky ceiling! It dripped on her all night. Beware of room 313 - leaky ceiling, broken phone and inoperable television. Thankfully they changed her room (after a night of drops on her head). *There is loud music playing on the beach EVERY NIGHT until at least 11 PM :( This hotel either needs serious work, or should update their description. Even my 9 year old niece was not impressed. However, every staff member was super kind, especially Rey & Dulce. But I couldn't wait to get back home :( Something about the place just icks me out and I could never get fully comfortable.
