Swiss Paradise Aruba

Swiss Paradise was an excellent choice for a 2-week stay in Aruba. Located in a quiet area yet a short drive away from many points of interest (beaches, restaurants, supermarket), the comlex has great common facilities such as the pool area and a very spacious, fully equipped kitchen. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the best feature was the private little back yard with shower and hot tub - worth extending the stay by an extra week just to hang out there. The host and the staff are very kind and helpful, and were always available to assist with anything we needed. I gladly recommend this as a place to stay for anyone visiting Aruba!

Back in july 2020, when corona was already impacting the world quite hard, there were few places for me and my long-distance girlfriend to go to. Aruba was one of the few places where I could fly to from Europe and my girlfriend from the US. When I arrived, my girlfriend was already there. She was welcomed greatly by owner Juerg when she arrived. It's located on a great spot, in a seemingly newer area with beautiful surroundings. The night sky is fantastic, especially since you are a bit away from the city centre. That makes it a very calm, relaxed atmosphere both during the night and the day. The days are either spent with traveling around the island to the most beautiful beaches and sightseeings or laying at the pool, right in front of your door. In both ways, you wake up lovely in a spaceous, well maintained room, in a very comfortable bed. The shower is good, the TV is big and recieves many channels, both American and European. You can start your day great by cooking a nice breakfast in the outside-kitchen, in the morning sun. The grocery store is close, there is public transport on the island, but we rented a car. That turned out to be a great decision, because of the fact that you can manoevre much quicker around the island, from beach to bar, from lighthouse to restaurant. Swiss paradise has enough parking room, right outside the gates that make for a safe and private feeling. These times might somtimes ask for a bit more than one could have imagined just a year ago, but right from walking in, you notice that the Corona-measurements are being taken seriously, but in a subtle, yet very clear way. At the entrance, there is hand disinfectant lotion and in the public area around the pool, there are arrows that define the walking route along the place. The pool is very clean and so are the rooms. The owner knows a lot about the restaurants and gave us some great recommendations. If we wanted to know anything, he was always happy to help out and answer our questions, or even gave some great suggestions or heads-up for when something nice was about to happen on the island. Needless to say, we had a great holiday here, in fact, we were very happy we picked this place to stay after not seeing eachother for 6 months.

We stayed at Swiss Paradise for 10 days in July. Juerg (owner) is a great host. So accommodating and helpful. He provided us with great recommendations to different restaurants around the area, and even gave us coupons for brunch (50% off). He reached out to us right away after we booked, informed us of the new regulations, what we needed to do before arrival, and after, gave us lots of ideas on what to do/where to go out and was always available during our stay. The place is beautiful and very clean. Full kitchen where you could cook if you choose to do so. The rooms were great. Bed was very comfortable, ac in the room was much needed and great. The pool is also really nice. There are a few rooms with jacuzzi and private pool. They were fully booked while we were there but they look really nice. There is also a spa in the premises that I would highly recommend. We will absolutely stay at Swiss Paradise next time we visit.

If I had to summarize my stay in one word; wow. Juerg (the owner) was not only the most helpful person, but the kindest! Upon arrival, he makes sure you had a successful check in. In the room, not only are they are adorable and luxurious , they have a list of MANY restaurants he recommends, along with many restaurant options on the island. The rooms were very clean. The room also had a fridge which was convenient. The outdoor patio had an inground pool, a beautiful outdoor kitchen area (depending on the room you get, you might not get a kitchen), and so many lounge chairs. The sun hits the backyard PERFECTLY, so if you wanted to miss out on the beach, you have an amazing place to tan. We rented a car, so we were easily able to drive everywhere. Within 10 minutes, you could be at 100 different restaurants or 100 different attractions. The location was perfect for the price. Overall, I had an amazing stay and I can’t wait to return to Swiss Paradise. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!!!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Swiss Paradise for one week and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The owner ( Juerg ) is extremely friendly and accessible at any time. He showed us around as soon as we got there and gave us a list of suggestions on things to do. The complex was very clean and had all accommodations for COVID-19. The experience you get here is much more authentic than overpaying for a high rise hotel. We rented a car for the week and couldn’t be any happier that we chose Swiss Paradise over an overpriced hotel. If you are planning a trip to Aruba, STAY AT SWISS PARADISE!
