Charming rural casa
This was a lovely place to rest after walking. Nice garden and grounds. Old rustic stone buildings and old and rustic decor inside - so an old world feel. They served a good evening meal (at 7.30pm) for 15Euros (a little more expensive than other pilgrim meals), and also offer breakfast. A little bit off the camino trail, but a nice overnight stay if you want to have a little more luxury.
Old word charm on a budget
This is a charming place with its stone walls and rugged beams. Rooms are tastefully decorated and the shower is hot and strong. It’s rural so it’s also quiet and peaceful. Affordable meals are available. The staff are welcoming and helpful and the wifi signal is good. I would choose to stay there again.
LOVED our stay -- and Maria!
We walked in through the shortcut from the Camino de Santiago path, and were greeted by Maria. She showed us to our lovely, spacious rooms, did our laundry (8 Euros), and served a delicious meal in a small dining hall where we chatted with other peregrinos. She does not speak English, so it was wonderful to have our Spanish-speaking son help us. The building where we stayed has no sound insulation, but that did not bother us. The place is beautiful, the grounds lovely, and Maria's was just wonderful!
kind and authentic
great facility, clean and spiritual, big and nicely decorated rooms. the only problem is the close road, which makes more noise than needed. Good breakfast, fast and reliable WiFi, payments with credit card possible, English is a challenge. in general my stay was OK
3rd Stage om Camino walk
A family owned hotel, just off the Camino distance marker 43,253 km. We checked into this hotel as soon as we reached it after walking for about 26km as per my Garmin tracker. The reception was good and easy, and we took the groundfloor room to rest my aching knee. The building itself was beautiful, with good clean room, good bedsheets, pillows, good bathroom with excellent hotwater. We had our local dinner there, and had continental breakfast the next day before continuing our walk. Overall a comfortable hotel.
