Nasty! ROACHES!

Opinión escrita el 20 de novembre de 2022

The place was disgusting. First room I had was filthy. The bathroom had not been cleaned. I took pictures and went back to the front desk. The guy working there gave me a new room. That room was worse. The bathroom had not been cleaned either. I was thinking about just staying and dealing with it until I saw a roach on the ceiling above the bed. NOPE. The other rooms my workers we staying in were nasty as well so we left. I told the guy at the desk that the roach was a deal breaker. He didn't argue. Took a good 45 minutes to get the refund but he was helpful. He apologized and said they had no one to clean that day. I understand it's hard to get help but if you can't get the bathrooms cleaned after the previous guests left then cancel the reservation and help me find another location or place to stay. There are a ton of hotels under the Wyndham umbrella.

Disgusting place

The room wasn’t even cleaned at all. The sheets and bed were the only thing. French fries under the bed, hair all over and mold on the ceiling. Boogers on the wall and phone. Grossest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Left early and got a refund. Tried changing rooms and it wasn’t much better. Place needs torn down and rebuilt from how outdated it is.

Terrible experience

Opinión escrita el 14 de julio de 2022

This hotel was dirty and gross feeling, looked like black mold spots on the ceiling. It had patched holes in the walls and above the shower. It felt soggy and wet/humid inside, couldn't wait to get out of this place!

Not having good luck with hotels in this area

Opinión escrita el 5 de julio de 2022

Quick overnight trip to visit a family member in the hospital. The website shows there is a pool, there is not. Or rather, it is not open (and hasn't been all year per the staff) but they were happy to send us to a public pool in the next town over. Yuck. There is no elevator. You carry all your luggage up a large flight of stairs to the second floor. The rooms are terribly dated, but functional. We specifically asked for a NON-pet friendly room, and was given a mostly inoffensive one on the second floor. The odor coming from the rooms around us, however, proved that "many" rooms are pet friendly rather than the hotel having only "some" pet friendly rooms. I observed the staff cleaning, and they looked to be doing a well - but the odor from some of the rooms that were open was nauseating. I feel like they don't have much to work with. The scent candle in the lobby really didn't help much. At least ten rooms on the second floor had doors propped open with the swing lock at the top when we arrived, and they stayed that way the entire visit. Creepy. We went to sleep listening to the engine of an 18 wheeler running in the parking lot, heard it leave and another take its place around midnight and again around 0300, so that was a constant background noise. Not sure what was up with that. Breakfast was sad. Two cereal choices, milk from a community carafe, coffee, hot chocolate packets, bananas, packaged snack cake type cinnamon roll. The whole place felt a bit unsafe and I would not have stayed there with my children if we had been traveling without my husband. I recognize this is a budget hotel, but we'd had such a lousy experience with the hotel across the road a few weeks prior we thought this one couldn't be worse. It wasn't worse, but that one wins out because they had a nice pool to occupy the kids.
