This is most disgusting motel hotel whatever you wanna call it call it ever paid for in my life Athens Georgia lamps don't work lights didn't work he unplugged the microwave to plug in lamp so we can have like $75 $75 for America's Best how about take the best part off because it's the messed up I'm f***** mad and I'm not happy..$75 I would have paid $25 you're wrong and I can tell this is not American so I'm not racist but come on guys you got to do better like for real we are going to feed us for breakfast bagel? I can't get it I'm not going to give you the review because it's so low - - - - 0000 - I do not recommend this to anybody America's best sucks really really bad they're really rude. And the price is just not right and I got smoking room and I don't have an ashtray or towels wife I don't either it don't work

Yes, this motel is categorized as a budget motel, but it was very clean, the bed was comfortable, it was close to downtown and the owner, AJ, was super friendly. There was even fresh coffee and pastries in the morning. Save money by staying here and splurge at the nice restaurants and bars in Athens. I would definitely stay here again.

Very easy walking to the action of downtown. I believe you get what you pay for as this is a budget motel and it operates as such. The shower sprayed water out of the top of the shower head but other than that, it was clean serviceable esp for the price. I'll note that you should doublecheck reservations that you make online via the national number and those booked directly as there was a gap in communication for us.

This property is getting a lot of negative reviews. I am not saying there is no truth in them. I am saying that me and my wife had a decent enough experience there last night--we are back home now--and the place, for the money, its a not a bad place. This was our first time to Athens. We knew we would be spending money in the nightlife--as we always do in new places. And wanted to remain in our budget. This motel was walking distance to the University of Georgia and downtown. A little steep walk but not too bad--about 25 minutes to get to the junction of Broad St and College Ave. junction. Okay, so the motel was NOT perfect at all! Some power outlets didn't work, the room was not lighted enough (hardly any light fixtures), the AC was not On when we got there--it was hot--, the shower handle was half broken, not sure the fridge was even working, etc etc. But basics worked: plumbing, comfortable bed, AC, hot water, bed comfortable... We paid pretty low price and didn't expect luxury. But we were satisfied with our stay. We DID spend way more than the hotel fare on the nightlife--till late night. The owner Ajay was friendly. Served coffee and juice this morning. Would serve breakfast too but we were early. We would stay there again--especially if on tight budget ;)

"Non-smoking" room smelled like smoke. Very run down, but we had few choices, as we wanted something close to the stadium for the Notre Dame/Georgia game. The only saving grace was the proximity to the stadium - a little over a mile, so it was worth it from that standpoint. It was relatively cheap, but you get what you pay for, which isn't much in this instance.
