Great Location
The hotel is very well located only a 5-10 min walk of the Acropolis and only slightly longer to the main sites. If you are lucky you may get a room with an oblique view of it from the link balcony. Room was well appointed with a nice bathroom and the 3rd bed we requested was a proper one not a sofa bed. Pool area looked nice but water was freezing. We ate in the top floor restaurant on our first night and had a excellent meal. The area was mainly residential but there was plenty of bars and restaurants in the area.
Great location but some downside
We visited Athens for 3 nights. The location is amazing in a residential area with plenty of restaurants and bars around. The welcoming on our arrival was great. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and an asset to the hotel. The room was on the small size but very well appointed and the bed very comfy. A shame for the view. We booked an Executive Room Acropolis View as per the image on the website and the view of the Acropolis was on the side of the balcony. You needed to bend over the balcony to see the Acropolis. See images. The room wasn't spotless as dirty coffee capsules were left in the machine, long hair on the floor in the bathroom. Breakfast in the first morning was a bit of disaster. When we arrived, we stood there waiting to be showed to a table. The staff totally ignored us and left us there until we approached them. The hot food was cold. When we mentioned it to the staff, they were not very pleased about our comment. The waitress on the first day at breakfast wasn't happy to be there and you could see it in her attitude. She was talking very loud to her colleague in Greek. You don't know what she was speaking about but hopefully it wasn't about the guests having breakfast. Other than the comments above, we had an amazing time.
Great Location
My wife and I recently spend a very pleasant 4 night stay at this hotel. It is enviously located over looking the Akropolis and close to a plethora of shops, restaurants and places of interest. The hotel reception area is large and luxuriuous with extensive use of marble. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and were soon in our room which was on the 3rd floor. The room was not particularly spacious, but was nicely appointed with all the usual fixtures and fittings and had a very large, very comfortable bed. The a/c worked very well (needed as the weather was warm). The only issues we found were (i) it was difficult to regulate the water temperature in the shower and, more significantly, (ii) noise disturbance, largely from inconsiderate guests in neighbouring rooms late at night (loud conversations, scraping of chairs etc in the early hours). Whilst the hotel cannot be blamed for such guests, it does suggest that noise insulation in the rooms may not be all that it could be. We didn't take breakfast at the hotel but we did have dinner one evening at the rooftop restaurant. The food was good, the views to die for and the service excellent (as it was generally at the hotel). The hotel has a pool, albeit rather small and containing apparently unheated, water, but the pool, area is a pleasant place to sit. The hotel was spotlessly clean and hand sanitisers were on display in all public areas. Overall, we had an an enjoyable stay.
Great place in Athens
Positioned at the real heart of things, easy walk to all best sites. Clean, quite, great staff. Specifically Loukas at the front desk. Just stroll around to see the acropolis museum. Have lunch or dinner at the To Kati Alo behind the museum. Great local home made at very good prices.
Amazing location
Great hotel close to the Acropolis with amazing views , especially from the excellent roof top restaurant. Clean hotel, very friendly staff , great fitness suite , outdoor pool. Close to two metro stations for easy travelling around Athens but easy walking distance to historic sites. The only thing missing was a kettle in the room.
