Fantastic hotel and service
We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved the hotel and the friendly service. We had a Signature room which was extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. The service was friendly and excellent at all times. We ate at the hotel both nights and were very impressed with the food. Breakfast was also excellent. The hotel is small enough to have a very personal feel but with all the luxury and service you might expect from a larger establishment. We travelled with a young baby and everyone was extremely accommodating - thank you for a wonderful stay.
Lovely family lunch
This was a birthday outing and we were looked after very warmly and professionally. Two children really impressed with a very original children's menu. The food was excellent and innovative and the service timely and attentive. First class lunch and outstanding value.
Fabulous!
Was treated to lunch here by my daughter who has stayed in the hotel previously. Everything was absolutely perfect from the warm welcome to the red squirrel that entertained us from the garden view as we had lunch. We had opted to sit in the garden room. The hotel is immaculate. Surroundings very relaxed - even though all staff catered so well adhering to Covid restrictions. The food is absolutely unbelievable and, for the lunch menu, outstanding value for the quality of food which I could not rate highly enough. I just cannot say enough good things about this place to complement it sufficiently. Recommend highly. We will def go back - next time to stay over too.
Fantastic Lunch!
My mum and I visited Cairn Lodge Hotel for lunch today. We ate from the Brasserie menu - 3 courses for £20 & dare I say it the only criticism is that the food was too cheap! Outrageous value for money! We sat in the conservatory which is beautifully decorated (as is the whole hotel). We enjoyed watching the red squirrels zooming up and down the surrounding trees. Food was outstanding - well presented, perfect portion size, fresh and very tasty. Stand out dish was the Lemon Sole with Capers, Brown Shrimp & Samphire. Service was warm, welcoming and efficient. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend!!
Consistently Fantastic food in a lovely setting
We have visited on a number of occasions over the last couple of months and the food and service have been consistent and of a high standard. Sitting outside in the garden is lovely with heaters and lovely trees and bushes. Inside the conservatory is cosy and welcoming and very comfortable. On our last visit the halibut was Michelin standard and chef easily adapted it for me with no meat. My husband loved his duck. Highly recommended. Covid19 is managed very well and does not spoil the experience.
