We booked this hotel through booking.com and were given a booking code. We arrived at 16:15 to find that the hotel was closed, despite the note on the door saying the reception was open from 16:00. Pressing the bell we were given a message in German (fair enough I guess, but how many International tourists speak German?) I understood enough to go to the automatic key dispensing machine (instructions were available in English) which asked us for our reservation code. We entered the code which we had received by email from booking.com but this didn't work. There was a tel number to call but as the roaming on our Spanish mobiles wasn't working, I went to the next door petrol station who very helpfully called the number on our behalf and obtained a new code. About 45 mins later we were then at least able able to get into the unmanned hotel. Shortly after we had unloaded our luggage the receptionist arrived and wanted passports and payment. We were travelling with our two dogs and had stated this when we booked through booking.com and emailed the hotel to let them know, but didn't receive a reply, nevertheless the receptionist insisted on another €17 for them. He was very pleasant and appeared apologetic but said we should have called the hotel directly to get the final cost and entry code (what's the point of booking through a hotel website?) The hotel was conveniently located just off our route, the room was clean, modern, relatively spacious but very warm with no aircon and no fans available from reception. So in summary, we were unable to get into this automated, robotic hotel for 45 mins, charged extra for our dogs and sweltered in a room with no aircon. Never again.

the hotel is very well located for people who just need an accomodation whilst travelling from A to B. it is just off the highway, but one does not hear the highway from the rooms. so quality of sleep is good. no looing time in searching for a hotel or a street or else the rooms are large and ok and offer a good bed with a window on the green landscape. one can also do some leg stretching immedialtey behind the hotel. the breakfast is good the staff is extremely nice and friendly and helpful

Just a hotel near highway . Quite good for one night . Clean , but hot in summer , breakfast better than you expect . Bedding and towels are clean , interior ..... old . Impossible to read in the room .

The pictures give a false impression. The place is rustic and out of the way, even with a GPS it was difficult to find. The rooms are small and the odor in the smoking rooms overwhelming. The monetary value charged for the rooms is overrated and in the end we were not given the rate that was quoted and documented on our confirmation letters. In addition we had paper work indicating a specific rate which stated breakfast was included. At checkout we were charged an increased rate for the rooms and an additional charge for breakfast. The hotel is not a good value and is in the middle of nowhere. It has no fans in the rooms and to get a breeze the windows had to be left open, so being on the first floor and just a few feet from the public road that runs in the back of the property proves to be an unsafe option. Its either be hot and very uncomfortable or cooler and open to the road. In a state of emergency a decent place to stay but not for an extended period of time as I had to do. The breakfast was decent but not worth the amount charged. Also the hotel has no one to open and register you if you happen to arrive on a Sunday, until 6 pm. There is a box on the outside of the hotel that requires you to put in a credit card and a key will come out like a vending machine. Nothing really good to say about the place.

Wir waren aufgrund der guten Erfahrungen aus Vorjahren zum dritten Mal hier. Das Hotel liegt nur wenige hundert Meter neben der Autobahn an einem kleinen Autohof. Trotz Tankstelle und Mc Donalds in unmittelbarer Nähe unglaublich ruhig, da die Zimmer alle zur Landseite gerichtet sind. Sehr netter Empfang (ich wurde wieder erkannt!). zweckmäßig eingerichtete, saubere Zimmer.Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt am Hotel. Zugang rund um die Uhr mit einer elektronischern Karte.Wir hatten ohne Frühstück gebucht, deshalb nicht zu bewerten. Rundum zufrieden. Wer essen gehen will: Wenige hundert Meter entfernt gibt es ein Restaurant. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
