hairballs in hallway, ceiling caving in, doors kicked in, mold mold everywhere, I doubt I need to go on, pool area was nonexistent, tried to talk to front desk staff, LOL, clueless, this place needs to be condemned

What happened to this place? We stayed here 10 years ago when they first opened and it was pristinely zen. Now it looks like a crime seen. It's really worrisome. The outside was dilapidated with the pool empty. The parking lot had suspicious vehicles with one being a van that looked like it had been there for a long time. As we entered there was a strong musty smoke smell. The guy at the front desk was wearing a sleeveless shirt. We asked to see the room first. The lobby ceiling looked like there was some kind of flooding or weather damage and even on the upstairs room level. We saw workers who questionably stared. As we entered the room, the distressing condition continued. We saw a debris filled tub and damaged patio view that gave us no hope to get a better opinion about the place. They didn’t hesitate to let us cancel our our stay without being charged.

Absolutely the worst Hotel in Austin, TX. Please, save your money and DO NOT STAY HERE. Check-In is 3:00pm, but our room was not ready at 3:00pm. The staff was kind enough to let us leave our bags in our uncleaned (trashed and filthy room) while we explored Austin for the afternoon. Luckily the housekeepers eventually got to our room to clean it, but were still very disappointed with the room. The Chaise lounge chair was filthy, disgusting stains on the carpet, the bedside nightlights didn’t have light bulbs, half a condom wrapper left on the floor. The beautiful pool advertised on the website was completely decrepit and defunct, covered in dead vines. Though the Hotel has signs everywhere advertising Non-Smoking the entire lobby reeks of cigarette smoke as does our room. Stay Away from the Casulo Hotel.

Letting all the tourists know who are planning coming from out of town. This is a no tell motel. Yeah I gotta fill more words. Don’t stay at the casulo bc well that’s where the local night walkers take the johns

Talk about over promise under deliver! Do yourself a favor and stay at ANY OTHER HOTEL in the area and save yourself some money. First of all it said free breakfast but there was no breakfast at all. Not enough towels for the jacuzzi room and no more could be provided. Cigarette burn holes in the furniture. Incomplete carpet tiles on a cement floor. You could hear the people above us stomp around all night long. Someone down the hall had the tv on and you could hear it all night. Cheap paper thin walls. But that was nothing; the empty jacuzzi tub turned on all by itself in the middle of the night scaring all of us. Took my baby a good hour to settle down and go back to sleep. We awoke to the smell of someone smoking cigarettes at 7am. Yumm! When we went to complain and ask for a partial refund the girl at the front pointed to a sign that read if we did not complain within 15 minutes of arrival that no refund would be given. I had to explain to her these things happens while we were sleeping so letting front desk know as soon as we got there was not possible. She then tried to offer us a discount for another stay. I said no thank you. We are from out of town only here for one night and would like a partial refund because we are stay was very unsatisfactory for what we paid. She said she did not have authority to do that so we said get someone who does. She said that person would be there in another two hours! I said we are checking out now call them on the phone. Then some man said they can’t because that person is 80 years old. I said what does that have to do with anything? If they are in charge you should call them instead of expecting me to wait around for two hours. I call my 96 year old grandmother all the time and she can handle it. They refused and I said I would call the better business bureau. This stupid girl actually told me she didn’t care! Nice customer service and in the hospitality industry!! This place is totally run down, dirty, and pathetic just like the day staff at the front desk.
