Dusit Thani Maldives

This was my third trip to Maldives and Dusit made it the best so far.... everything was perfect... right from our butler Saleem to our server Faisal and dive guide Reeza... excellent rooms and facilities, great island. Maybe you get to go diving with the GM Thomas and hear some of his witty jokes too, ideally I would like to give it 4.5 stars, the half star less for 3 reasons - rooms had light coming in from some of the blinds which I didn't prefer since I need a pitch black room. Food could have been better on some nights, I believe it was because it was a buffet layout - items like French fries would become hard and many food items didn't have much taste. On the food front - my previous stay at Taj Exotica aced everything. They should ideally go with a-la-carte for half board as well, less wastage and freshly prepared food which tasted so much better. Lastly I think it was silly they would charge for drinking water at dinner. You may so much for the hotel and don't expect them to have such a small heart to charge for regular drinking water. Its not like its Evian or something. But the service by Faisal and Saleem won my heart so stuck with 5 instead of 4 stars.

What a place, service started right when we landed in Maldives, we were taken to dusit thani lounge where we were taken good care of, the minute we landed, from that moment the service and hospitality was top class, rooms are so well maintained and staff is so well spoken and kind, watersports and all activities are so good, the hotel has an excellent reef and superb for divers, our butler Suzie was exceptionally sweet and don't put down any of our requests Thank you everyone for making our trip so so memorable it's been a week since we are back we still miss being there

Made to feel at home right away - if only it could be permanent! The warmest hospitality, the most gracious staff and a beautiful property. The food and staff at Benjarong were simply outstanding. A special mention to Ajaa and Chilli who looked after us exceptionally well. Thank you for an unforgettable stay and priceless memories. Can't wait to be back.

We had a wonderful trip! - this was our second time at Dusit Thani Maldives- Everything was just perfect! We as a family felt completely safe! Even during these difficult times it was a perfect place to switch off! We snorkelled with the Turtles, Dolphins Dori and Nemo. As well as diving into the amazing world deep into the ocean. The staff at the dive centre are experienced and kind and our whole family created some spectacular memories. Actually the staff in the whole resort were extremely attentive to all our needs and nothing was too much trouble. We would like to give special thanks to Ajaa our butler and Gerald from the Sea Grill. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect time at Dusit Thani. As well as Ishaag and his team at Benjaron and Ahmed from The Market Restaurant. We even managed to have a back of house tour to understand how the Island is run! It was truly educational and interesting to see the amount of hard work which goes on behind the scences to ensure the smooth running of the resort- thank you Dimuthu for the insightful tour. It really felt like a holiday home away from home- thank you Mr. Webber, Mr. Watt and your team for making this a truly memorable holiday. We will be back again !

Everything about this place is beautiful, luxurious and relaxing! I would give a special mention to our limited food preferences that made us skeptical before arriving but that was indeed the best service that we got and for which we were pampered the most. My husband and I had informed the property about our vegan food preference and I can tell, they were well prepared. The head chefs of every restaurant sat with us to plan every meal of the day for an entire week. Every cuisine demanded was made vegan, from mock meat burger to vegan sushis. Vegan desserts were the highlight of the trip. While everything about this place is nothing but the best, you can be extremely relaxed if you have any limitation on your food preferences, but yes don't forget to inform them before your arrival date for them to put up their best :)
