Royal Princess, and treated our family as such!
Hi all, I highly recommend this resort for is beauty, food, staff and grounds. 15 out of 10 experience. Loved the ocean, salt and fresh water pool options, in-door and out-door, for kids or separate for adults, plus Spa w cold plunge and steam rooms. Dont miss this experience!!
One of the best hotels
We are a family of four and this is our last day at the wonderful Royal Princess. The hotel is situated on a cliff in Lapad and is part of a resort that consists 5 different hotels. Each caters to a different audience. The Royal Princess is the most exclusive of thefive. We stayed at the king suite which has superb view to the Ariatic sea and the surronding islands. The service at the hotel is something that you don't meet every day. The entire staff is so helpful, welcoming, resourceful and kind. We arrived at the hotel late at night and we missed dinner. The receptionisit decided to give us a vouchèr for a free lunch at the wonderful Vista restaurant eventhough she didn't had to. I would not exaggerate if I say that our every request was answered in the affirmative and willingly to help as much as possible. It seems that this specific hotel has engraved on its banner a high level of service and they train their employees accordingly. Thank you Royal Princess for a wonderful bacation and we hope to bisit again.
Had a business stay over there with partners. Everything that we needed, from hospitality to food and service. Clean, very professional, and most important, quiet area. I will be back soon, full recommendation on this one.
Dubrovnik-afied in true style
Dubrovnik-afied in true style As seasoned travellers, we hear many a recommendation battened around the traps as must do's with great pictures and raves that just don't make the cut it in the end. My darling late grandmother endlessly preached to me “If to be a great looking healthy man, start your day with a great healthy breakfast” repeatedly saying “you can always tell which men have an even greater woman cooking for them” Outdated thoughts, you'd think, though on the flip side a hotel or restaurant that provides us with a great healthy high quality start to our day, is our measure of a great experience/service provider, in particular when one feels positive respect and appreciation from the provider and where you would be happy to start your day over and over again. The Royal Princess hotel in Dubrovnik is just that place, awesome coffee, best baked beans “just like gran’s” (a rare find) fresh local produce and an exemplary breakfast buffet and fabulous location to boot! Cussping my cuppa, gazing across the stunning wide blue sea vantage from the breakfast terrace, tranced in the moment of “Dubrovnikacation” fully lost in the moment "aaaahh" suddenly I'm leaping forward dropping my legs off the chair, caught in a pickled moment by the ever so pleasant young waitress (Christina) thinking to myself “shoot, I shouldn't of had my feet on the chair” 30 seconds later Christina was right back at me, placing a towel on the chair for my feet to rest upon and offering the morning news paper, all this accompanied by a generous smile whilst voicing “please enjoy" O What a delightful feeling ! " Due to diplomatic reasons, I can’t say it’s even better than home ;-) but I think you've got my drift" The "Dubrovnikacation" moment was repeated many a time :-)) with cocktails’n very fine cheese at the beach bar whilst being serranated by trendy international vibes, also on the balcony by the reception accompanied by “Rakija" ( a local brandy "mmm" not for the faint hearted! though give it a go as the locals do!) whilst perusing the entire length of the resorts expansive sea front basking in the amazing sunset( the Royal Princess hotel has undoubtably the best sunset vantage of all the hotels offered in Dubrovnik) Dubrovnik is a very unique, picturess, fine tasting experience, we saw and ate the best of it with the hotels own skipper, Captain Rob (awesome guy, full of local knowledge, native English speaker born in the Commonwealth, felt right at home with him and his 500hp RIB(boat), an absolute must do! We booked a 2nd day out, only this time as a private exclusive boat adventure on our last full day in Dunbrovnik, experiencing many secluded bays, swimming onto uninhabited Islands, racing alongside dolphins and cruising into Dubrovnik's Old Town Port, accompanied by another magnificent sunset, this day was one for the bucket list! To top of the trip we endulged in the most amazing couples massage experience, treating our senses to the local lavender essence, deeply infused into our souls as a memorable farewell to the Med. Another fabulous breakfast before our transfer to the airport ( those baked beans are something else) Only issue was, felt terribly homesick on the plane, was wishing I had my feet up at The Royal Princess “feeling like a Dubrovnikafied Prince” Live to Enjoy the moment! God bless
Memorable stay !
I would definitely recommend this hotel ! It was in an amazing, picturesque location and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was in walking distance of the beach and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. If I ever go to Dubrovnik again I will definitely stay here.
