Great for road trip
We chose the Comfort Suites Bakersfield for an overnight on a road trip and it worked out just fine. Smooth check-in process, clean and comfortable room. COVID breakfast items are all pre-packaged pastries (unappetizing in my opinion). Three kinds of yogurt were available as well as bananas, mandarin oranges and some very nice looking apples. If I needed a place to stay in Bakersfield, I would stay here again.
Top value in a convenient location
This was our fourth visit to Comfort Suites in Bakersfield. Very impressed with the friendly customer service. Customer Service contacted us to return an item we had left in our room. It arrived promptly. The rooms are spacious, well lighted and sparkling clean. Convenient to freeways and downtown-not in downtown. We Highly recommended this place.
A Very Nice Stay
We had a wonderful stay in this very clean and quiet hotel with a very comfortable bed. The room was very large and equipped with all the amenities such as fridge, micro wave, coffee maker, hair dryer, ironing board and iron and free internet. The staff was exceptional. A complimentary breakfast is offered but was limited due to the corona virus. I can't fault them for that. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Extremely pleased with the accomodations
We stayed at the Comfort Suites for 4 nights in March. The evening desk clerk was very helpful and helped me with a problem I was having booking a stay at our next location. Our suite was clean, Furnishings were in excellent condition. The beds were very comfortable.Breakfast was excellent. Eggs were moist and tasted good. Sausage was not greasy, Biscuits and gravy was good. Potatoes looked good. ALL ITEMS WERE HOT ! There were many other items available. Dining area clean. Staff seemed to do their jobs well and were friendly. Rooms were quiet WE WILL STAY HERE AGAIN. ! This area with many hotels located together in Bakersfield used to be a VERY bad area for car break ins. It is not the area that is bad, it is an area of opportunity for bad people. I would recommend locking your car and either take everything with you into the hotel or keep everything out of sight. In previous stays in this area, I have seen quite a few vehicles that had been broken into.
Great place to stay
We checked into another hotel earlier in the day. We absolutely hated it and needed to change to another hotel. We called comfort suites and they took great care of us. We had to make a reservation on the spot and it was such a simple and easy process. The room rate was $130. There was a big event going on in town so I believe this rate was much higher ($25-$50) then the usual rate for this hotel. Either way it was worth every penny. Jason at the front desk checked us in and was very friendly when we arrived. The front desk associate the next morning was very nice as well and gave us a late check out. 1PM! I was happy we were able to check out so late. Breakfast was in the lobby of the hotel. Usually I do not eat breakfast, but I was able to get up early enough to enjoy it. The breakfast attendant was very nice. She offered guests trays to take their food back up to their room to enjoy. She was very attentive and kept tables clean and the food stock. All by her self. Great team at the comfort suites. So happy I moved to this hotel.
