Wonderful

Reviewed 5 august, 2022

There was construction happening in front of entrance of the hotel but that didn't create much of a problem at all. Upon reaching the hotel, I was greeted by an individual who showed me to the parking garage, the lobby and assisted with my luggage. The woman at the front desk was very kind when I checked in. The room was clean, neat, spacious, and easy to access. My entire stay there was wonderful. Breakfast was included and everyone was helpful and courteous. There was also a Whole Foods one block away --so beneficial. Thanks to all the great people who made my stay worthwhile; I will definitely stay again when I return to B-more.

Great experience!

All staff were attentive, friendly, and welcoming! The hotel and hotel room was clean. The complimentary wine tasting and charcuterie board was great! It was a wonderful stay. The pool was closed and there was construction outside the hotel but it did not impact anything for us. Thank you for a great stay!

Fabulous Staff

Reviewed 1 august, 2022

We spent a few nights at the Hyatt Place Inner Harbor in July of 2022. Great location in walking distance to Inner Harbor, Little Italy, and Fells Point. Felt comfortable walking our family around this area, although we did not venture out at night. There was a Whole Foods a block away. The staff was great, so kind, so polite. The breakfast was "good" but I've had better free breakfasts. Hyatt really let us and their staff down with equipment issues, though...our air-conditioning in our room stopped working twice, once at 10 pm when our 5 year old was already sleeping, and had to be reset both times. Both service men were great, but had no explanation for why it kept needing reset (we did not move it at all). And the pool was a bit ridiculous. I mean, I realize its a city hotel, but I'm pretty sure it was the size of 2 hot tubs put together and was closed for maintenance one of the 2 days we were there anyway, even if we did want to get in. Our refrigerator barely cooled, and the ice machine was out of order on our floor. We had to go to 4 different floors to get enough ice to fill our bucket, as machines were out. All in all a good base location for visiting Baltimore, and potentially awesome if not for all the mechanical issues we encountered while there.

Nice staff - but air conditioning and parking problems

Reviewed 28 july, 2022

We booked two rooms. The first room had an air conditioning problem which they spent a couple hours trying to fix but were unsuccessful. We moved rooms and the second one (downgraded) had a fine working AC. Our other room had an AC that worked well until about 10:30 at night then no longer functioned. The only other free room in the hotel was the one we had left so we were forced to stay and it affected out sleep. Lastly our booking included free parking (points stay) but there was none available on arrival and none made available or nothing offered in lieu. Only time this has happened to me in dozens and dozens of award stays. The staff was otherwise nice to deal with and the hotel was standard but overall not a great experience.

Yankee vs Orioles weekend

Reviewed 28 july, 2022

Although this hotel tends to get oversold quite a bit, & you'll probably end up at another property.. I will say that if they aren't fully booked & you're able to actually stay there you won't be disappointed. The hotel is walking distance to just about anything you would possibly need, from restaurants, to CVS, lounges/speakeasys, & a supermarket. There was a really good black owned restaurant below called BLK SWAN, & another called Bar One which both made the trip that much better because I didn't have to travel far for good food, & a nice vibe.
