going downhill !!
very run down hotel with 2 stars ,with 2 star ideas and ideals.We have previously stopped here and vowed not to return...but I had previously booked and paid and could not get a refund!! Breakfast was included in our price,but out of 10 x breakfasts I had to send them back 11 times !!Unbelievable poor service.Even once I returned meal for the egg to be "turned" for the umpteenth time and it returned minus my toast ,!No apology ..just the usual shrug that the staff seem to have perfected to a tee!! Would you believe that on many occasions they said they had "run out" of bacon...How on earth can you keep running out of 1 x item on a very small breakfast menu ?? One time we went to desk located outside entrance to book taxi to local destination and man took us to a very old Nissan that looked at least 20 years old! My wife got in back seat and had to push rubbish over to side.I tried to get in other rear passenger door and the lock was broken !..so I opened front passenger door only to find seat was pushed fully forward and I could not adjust !!GAVE UP AND WENT OUT TO ROAD TO GET REAL AND PROPER CAB AND NOT SOME RELATIVE OF THE HOTELPool area extremely dirty and poolside tiles needed a good scrub !Many of the sunbeds were broken.This is just a small part of my final stay at this hotel I wish any one staying here not to expect a lot for your money and there are other local hotels at a similar price with much better premises and without doubt much better food !!!! never again !!!!

I am in Bangkok every couple of months and this is my hotel of choice I never been disappointed. Desk staff is superb, restaurant staff excellent and serves good food. Very convenient location. I always recommend this hotel for people traveling to the area
Probably the best hotel in the world
Well where to start? A beautiful experience from start to finish. Amazing staff, gorgeous room with excellent facilities and the most comfortable bed I have ever laid my head on! Food in the restaurant is 10/10 could not recommend enough especially for the price I actually gave a 2000 baht tip because I was that impressed! Thank you and please everyone going to this area stay here ❤️🙏
Chaotic
After 16 hours of flights,1 hour in taxi we arrived with our confirmation of internet booking only to find that the staff could not find our booking in their system.After a search through different files and paperwork they said we had not booked or paid !! Again we showed them relevant email to show booked and paid for.Again they denied ever receiving booking or payment from agent ,even though we had proof of this !! Receptionist said we would have to pay to stay there as not their fault !!We explained that we were extremely tired from travel and would just like to rest and sort out problem later after sleep.They were not at all obliging but conceded we were not going anywhere soon.We got to room and contacted booking.com and they stated they had proof of email confirmation to hotel and payment to Malaysia made.They contacted hotel with relevant emails to show the incompetence of their staff in dealing with the situation.Lo and behold !!!! Reception called up to say they have found booking and payment details and all was good.REALLY !!!!! Terrible service by staff who are incompetent
Very mixed feelings....
Not my first time here but maybe my last. The place needs a MAJOR refurbishment from top to bottom. It is faded and jaded. Some staff are ok and some are not. Usual eclectic mix of guests with some having no consideration for others - door slamming late at night, adjoining room shouting at 3am, selfish pool users claiming two sun loungers in different positions to suit their sunbathing requirements - and so on and so on. Some pestering by older male guests. Poor quality breakfast, worst anywhere, just two poor options when included in booking. Location ok but not brilliant on noisy, busy, shabby road. Some authenticity in both hotel and area but overall people can do better than stay here.
