Good Place To Stay For Families Looking For Value
I stayed in a triple room with two of my children for four nights last week. The room was clean and tidy and had three single beds, something that is not always easy to find in hotels. The lift to our floor worked well, the swimming pool was a bonus and breakfast worked well (included in the price that I paid). There was some confusion about breakfast times (hence the four star, not five). I was told that breakfast started at 7.30am, but arrived at 7.30am for breakfast only to be told it started at 8.00am. This was a little irritating as I had planned our train trip around the times provided, but we adapted our plans and the world is still spinning around.
Do not include breakfast in stay
Terrible, simple toast was provided in breakfast. Higher priced than the Services they provide. First staff was not sure if breakfast is the part of stay. Vegetarian food not available. Not recommended
Good Visit
Stayed here for 3 nights. Was in a good location & the staff were lovely. Room was clean & tidy, swimming pool was nice too. The main reason for the 3 stars is the beds were rock solid and the our room was right outside the staff room so every morning we would here them chatting away. We would stay again, on a different floor and better beds.
Mango Lagoon Place
Decent little hotel right in the heart of Bangkok. Walking distance to loads of major attractions including the Grand Palace. Really quiet at night but the carnage of Khao San Road is only a 5 minute walk away! Loads of restaurants and bars in the local area. Tour companies aplenty as well as things to see and do!
Loved the location, basic rooms
Unfortunately our room was quite dirty, which meant we couldn’t take our shoes off inside because of how unclean the floor was. We also didn’t sleep very well as our room was directly opposite the elevator, which makes a noise every time it arrives at a floor! Having said this, it was cheap and central which is great for a short walk to the nightlife! Breakfast was also good, as well as an unusual saltwater pool!
