Very rude stafff at the reception , room not clean enough , and I ask them to clean later after midday and they told me they can not , when I actually lpaid a day extra , Not a happy visit will recommend other places for the same money, was bit noisy outside

Hotel to be banned.

This address is held by crooks. Questionable cleanliness. For 2 nights, only one small bottle of water for two, no cleaning done after the first night, stained bedding on arrival, dust everywhere, itching in the bed. No breakfast on the second day. As I had dreamed, because of strange staff, they cheated me by withholding part of my deposit for a slight bloodstain which was already present when we arrived. Absolutely not to be recommended.

Great Hotel right next to Phrom Phong BTS train station

Nice hotel. Good location next to Phrom Phong BTS train station. I normally stay at Soi 24, switch is the road opposite this one Soi 39. At the time Retro 39 was less then 600 baht a night so I thought I would give it ago. The rooms are big and clean. Have a mini bar, inside table and chairs and outside balcony with table and chairs if you need to smoke. Large bathroom with a shower big enough for 2 (or 3 ;) ) Its a 2 minute walk from EmQuartier and The Emporium shopping centers with food halls cinemas and much more. Benchasiri Park is very nice and only a 5 minute walk away. The Robin Hood bar across the road from it is nice to and cheap beer.

Big disappoint at the end

Highly disappointed with this hotel at the end of my stay. I was charged 100 baht for a towel that had toothpaste and a little bit of dirt on it. This would have surely come out in the wash. It's wasn't a tough stain like blood or wine. Everything was good, the staff was friendly, the room was comfortable, and liked the view from the 6th floor suite. There was an issue with the door not locking, so I had to wait an hour to leave my room the first night until it was fixed. The maintenance guy was friendly and they even called a local repairman after hours to finish the job. I was going to give this hotel a 5 rating, even with the door problem, but the towel situation forces me to give it a bad rating. You would think the same maintenance guy that fixed my door wouldn't be so petty and charge me for a towel after making me wait an hour to leave my room. Common sense right? It's sad that the owners will lose business from this review for a petty 100 baht. Owners if you read this, please change your policy! People do not want to be harassed like this! This review will also be posted on Agoda and Google Maps to warn other travelers. All for 100 baht, so sad. Definitely won't stay here again and will not recommend to anyone else.

Just 3 minutes walk off Phrom Phong BTS exit #3, 5 minutes walk to Emporium mall, Lawson 24 hrs store attached to the hotel ground floor, 10 minutes walk to affordable pricing Tops supermarket, food outlets and transports along the main road. Pantry in the room, attached very new and clean bath and shower, new marble flooring, nice wardrobe with bathrobes, safe box in the room and nice big window with a small balcony to chill out at night.
